Yeah, because alot of #ActuallyAutistics had called it out for not only having a non-autistic actor playing a autistic character, but for how inaccurate the portrayal was of autistic people (and yes I am #ActuallyAutistic)in recent years. But god this and especially the 2021 remix version is hella catchy and I wonder if there is a TikTok dance for this.... I'd think it'd be cool if someone was to edit in the remix in place of the OG song, just to see how it would go with this scene

I absolutely love the way movies made in the 80’s and 90’s end up looking on screen. The HD 4k cameras we have now just make everything the same shades of metallic blue and orange. So lame

Laurence Kim Peek was the autistic savant who Dustin Hoffman met in real life. They became firm friends. I recall just before the film was shown in the cinema that there was a short film explaining what autistic savant meant and afterwards a charity box was passed around the audience for donations for autism studies!
