Rain on a Tin Roof 2hrs "Sleep Sounds" 

I built a cottage with my Dad when i was 13 and he was retiring at 65, i said to him why the tin roof ?, he said you will see son, I got to love this sound .. Now i'm 69 and he would be 121, Thanks for this !!

As a cop I used to work 60 hours a week on the average and it was difficult to sleep after getting home from work. I was sleeping about 4-5 hours a night until I bought a CD with rains and thunder sounds. After that I could sleep well and could wake up rested. I am retired now and I still sleep to rain sounds. It lowers my blood pressure and the sounds improve my moods and helps to concentrate. I recommend it to anyone that needs relaxation to fall asleep or just to listen to it during day or night.

Enclosed my porch on a single wide trailer back in 2002. Gave the interior rooms to the kids, because they thought the biggest room was "too loud" due to the roof. The tin noise was much, much more metallic & loud than this, but constant, nonstop rainfall & thunder makes it familiar enough to mimic very light rainfall on a thundering night unless you turn this up nice & loud, to be like a hard rainstorm. At first, back then, it's kinda scary & hard to get used to, but after a few nights of stormy rain, you feel safer & more restful there than anywhere else in the entire world. Hearing the sounds of nature going as if you don't even exist is so comforting, like there isn't another soul in the world, & it's all okay with you if the secular world would never came back. The sound will lull you off to sleep like no other, even if you're stressed out. No matter the problem. As a matter of fact, so relaxed, I'm done typing, folks. Peace. Goodnight.

Makes me miss home... A lot 😭😭..... It's so wonderful in Kenya when it rains the scent when the rain first touches the ground and straight rainfall throughout the night the sound of the rooftop is heaven FR....... Till you had to wake up for school come morning all cold and flooded everywhere 🤣🤣

As a kid, my childhood house used to have a aluminum awning just outside my bedroom; it opened onto the veranda. Everytime a rain or a storm passed by I used to open my window and, no matter what time of day it was, just sleep. Those were the most relaxing rests I've ever gotten.

The sounds are GREAT reminds me of the sounds of so long long ago of my Childhood. No one can take them away. Just joy back in the day. Thank you, Thank you

Beryl sort of ended our drought here in NE Florida. Your last reply said you were stil short on rainfall. Strangely I still played your videos for myself and my dog in the middle of the tropical storm. You give me the control I need to avoid having to leave a door open. I really like this and have been happily editing while listening to it all day. I don't think it really sounds like rain on a tin roof, though. It sounds like rain, certainly, but it doesn't have the patter/plink I am used to hearing on a tin roof. I wonder if it's because the door is open so the tin roof sound is diluted by the sound of the rain striking other stuff (as opposed to the rain on a tin roof sound you hear when you are sleeping tucked up in bed). Perhaps this is why some people voted it thumbs down? Either way, awesome video!
