When I was a child, whenever it rained my mum would wake my brother, sister and me up (my dad worked night),turn off all the lights and turn the sofa to face the windows. We would all sit there with hot chocolate and listen to the storm while waiting to see the lightning, we lived on a hill and could see for miles. We all grew up to absolutely love thunderstorms and do similar things with our children. I found out recently that my mum hated them and was terrified but by waking us up and pretending she loved them she found she could cope.

This one never fails to put me sleep. I'm in hospital and had a total knee replacement in surgery 10 hours ago. Not due for painkillers and as it's early hours in the night expected to sleep. So I use my trusted vid (this one) and I've just woken up 5 hours later. THANK YOU FOR YOUR AMAZING VID xx

I'm so picky about what kind of rain I want to hear. This video has the nice little "plip ploop" thing goin' on and it's really like laying your head down at your window and hearing the drops hit that small puddle where the ground meets your house. Very hard to sleep without this. It helped me relax after a very difficult surgery. The pain was insane. So to keep my mind off it, I listened to this rain video.

Hands down the best rain quality I've heard in ANY video. I hope this is a still running video. Because honestly, anytime I don't have a fan this puts me to sleep just as quick. The dark background makes it interesting to drift to sleep to with random thoughts. Anyways. Thank you so much for this gift of a video! Been using it for 4 years.
