The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Sunday, Oct. 8, said that it still monitors the Low-Pressure Area (LPA) outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) which was at 1,505 kilometers east of Visayas.
Weather specialist Benison Estareja said the LPA still has a low chance of developing into a tropical cyclone in the next 48 hours but may enter PAR on Monday or Tuesday, Oct. 9 or 10.
