It sure is, and yet Rain World is not a game that i would recommend to absolutely anybody; if you wanna try it out you gotta be up for a g o o d challenge, really worth if that's the case
I was literally wishing for something like this a few days ago, but never remembered to search it. I'm glad I got this on my recommended, because this is perfect!
I've heard this game It is super hard and a big challenge but I'm curious if there is an objective other than just surviving because that's all I've really seen so far
Well, the game does have a story and a LORE that doesn't directly tells you about, and you are pretty much free to decide if you want to follow it ,get to the ending or just do as you want In that matter it's pretty much like a survival sandbox.. but yes, as i said before, game ain't easy with new players ( it's very unforgiven and you are told very little 'bout what to do) , that's why most people gets frustrated with it first hours of playthrough Even so Rain World it's a very unique experience- with it's procedural animations for each creature and it's stunning scenery make it feels like a living and breathing ecosystem (o yea, this game doesn't have an offical Workshop but there's plenty of fans moddin' it and creatin' stuff from new regions/biomes , creatures to new game modes including a co-op for the campaign , so theres that)
@@NATT214 If I wasn't gonna get this game then I'm totally getting it now, lore and stories are my favorite aspects in games. I'll watch a beginner guide and I'll start working my way through to find out this lore. You've got me hooked!
alright but even half-life's ost is weirdly perfect for rain world?? then again both games do have a very similar industrial/sci-fi apocalyptic feel....... and very very fun ai :) especially fitting now that downpour basically canonised barnacles in the form of the stowaway, haha anyway this fuckin rules and i'm so sad this isn't an actual mod but just really, really great sfx dubbing (though at least we have half-life step sfx which is a start?)
That's a HECU soldier from HF1 and the combines voice lines are muffled by their mask, the HECU sound more while the combine sound... Something out of a dystopian world.
