So, I think the tail is some sort of cybernetic enhancement, as by Moon saying "Glad to see the tail is working well". The tail stripes going away means that they are in their purest form, without any sort of enhancement, might be either slugcat goin full slugcat or their soul is leaving their body during transcendance, or becoming a soul. That's my answer to the description.

Mod Name: The Drought Mod: *Rains heavily all the time* I'm assuming it's named this because you just set forth the moments for Pebbles to take the water from Moon, leaving her in a drought.

Did you notice that moons gift also gave you the ability to read pearls on the spot by eating them? Besides getting utterly slaughtered, this was a great mod and series of videos

This is definitely pretty surreal to be showing up for only in retrospect of downpour. Its definitely rather interesting to see the roots of areas like sunken superstructure this far back, and the general collective vision had for the games expansion around the time.

6:15 I had one of those moments too 2 dragon bois, a monster kelp, and a green lizard. My friend's body was in the middle of all of them (I was using jolly coop) I was literally right next to all of their mouths, but I grabbed my friend and somehow escaped. I then died in the next room to a green lizard while hiding.

Not sure why you weren't getting the pearl reading ability after speaking to moon. I visited 5p on my run first but didn't give him the pearl. Went to moon, gave it to her instead and she gave me a new mark instead of the square. Whenever I ate a pear, sluggo would fall asleep and the pears contents would read on screen. Pebbles also instantly slaughtered me the second I peeked back in his room even though I'd only been in once before. Ending was also slightly different to your stun in the depths. Not sure if it's to do with the order you visit the iterators or if it's a mod inconsistency
