Ritchie absolute idol, king of kings. I believe that the period between 1982-84 was exceptional and comparable to those between 1970-72 and 1976-78. The left hand is absolutely prodigious ... a very great extraordinary artist.
If my memory serves me, Jan Akkerman, Peter Banks, Steve Hackett, Martin Barre, and Ritchie Blackmore were the principle forces that originated the successful integration of classical music with rock and roll guitar. Been a huge fan ever since.
Ever notice that in every rainbow album there is that one track that eclipse every other song on the album? In difficult to cure it's this one, long live rock and roll had gates of babylon, rising had stargazer, straight between eyes has eyes of fire. Sad the group never had the full attention of the world but for the ones that know it's rocks best kept secret!
Epilog》I really believe Ritchie Blackmore should make an instrumental record something like Tubular Bells I believe that this would be the alpha and Omega💡
What is the classical music in the solos, (oh what incredible solos), I recognise it but can’t place it which is really annoying because I know I know it.
@@Kohntarkosz thank you, I’ve obviously heard it on Classic FM, but as well as saying who’s performing it they also tend to say who’s conducting it and other stuff as well and I miss what they’re saying. It’s even worse when they play something from A Space Odyssey: 2001 🤪🤪🤪
