Here I'm showing is the only Rainbow that I have, for now at least. This is one of the newest vacuums that I recently got, I picked it up a few months ago from the thrift store for $10 but it only came with the unit by itself, luckily the attachments came with it. Everything else I bought separately for it. The hose I bought used, the powerhead and wand I bought refurbished, and the RainbowMate I bought new, all from eBay. Other than that, I just took apart the unit, cleaned it up, put in new motor bearings and replaced the HEPA filter, and I had to buy a new nut for the separator cause I lost it during the refurbishment. Overall, this thing works great! I also bought some pine scent to try it and see if I like it or not. It works, it doesn't last for very long but I sure do love the smell! This vacuum was famously shown on a show called Everybody Loves Raymond, that's what really got me into this. Out of all the Rainbows that were made, I really like this one the best because it was the last Rainbow to use carbon brushes and the first to use a HEPA filter. I was never really a fan of the brushless Rainbows. Also water doesn't trap all of the dust so it was a smart move by Rexair to add a filter on. Overall, this is a good vacuum. Performance is similar to a Kirby especially to Rainbow's newest today model the SRX. But I'm still not a fan of using Rainbows. Just very annoying to use, but I gotta say though that Rainbow is one of the greatest vacuum designs ever made in the industry.
Hope you enjoyed!
