I have spoken with Mrs. Sandra and she has had multiple issues with codes since the new ETSY update. If you'd like to contact her through Etsy she will refund the 20% to you because this code and her other ones have had some problems. Hope this helps!
OKAY, before you say it or think it I'll admit it, I'm strange BUT, when you were adding your colors and mixing them to the music, it was like your spoon was in sync with the music and it almost looked like a soapy dance. There, now you can judge me for yourself!!! Great video.
I love that you noticed that, A symphony of mixing magic! Thanks for watching, NO Judgement from me at all. I think it was awesome. I watched it back and your right. Wasn't done on purpose however it is a happy accident!
Wow, Newbie here, I’ve never heard of whipped fluffy soap before, absolutely fascinating & I love how you did it in different colours. I would re-name it to unicorn 🦄 fluff ‘n’ stuff 😂 . When you were whisking it, it looked liked thick whipping cream & I wanted to eat it. Nomnomnom 😛🤪
Trisha Walsh welcome! This is one of my all time favorite products! It really does look like whip cream even after it’s done😁 I like your name choice that’s fun🎉🌈🦄 Thanks for watching! Hope you give this product a try, you will love it!
You will Love it! I purchase most of the supplies for this base from www.makeyourown.buzz it is a one stop shop with reasonable shipping if your in the states. :0) I love this base it is perfect, you can add oils and other stuff to it but it is super on its own too. Let me know what you think when you make it!
I provide a small spatula for dipping the product out. Some folks use their hands which is not recommended, but happens. Thanks for watching and no such thing as a dumb question.
It is one of my favorites to make also! The formulation is fantastic. It's really a multi functional product. Press and seal changed the game for me when it came to whipped soaps or soap/scrubs. You will love it :)
I love this! Just found out about whipped soap and immediately looked to see how it's made and it looks amazing. Also, just wondering what the music is in the background? I love it!
Can I make whipped black soap withought a foaming whip base? I ask because Black Soap naturally foams, and if I add shea butter would it become a soapy lathering body butter?
Awesome video!!! Is this soap recipe that you are using the same listed on the description box? Or a different one? Also Can you share the link to your pastry bag?
Excuse me. I'm from Brazil and here we don't have many products like this. I would like to know something, how long will it stay in that consistency? And is there a product to make the soap stay that way? Sorry if the question is uncomfortable.
You can get whipped soap base at WSP I use it to make a foaming sugar scrub it works great. And yes the whip soap does collapse in the jar the sugar scrub holds up better.
Mary Kat the base that can be bought from WSP is a good one I have used that many times before. Your right is does deflate in direct sun. Under shaded areas vendor tent/umbrella have had it stay just like I made it. Sugar scrubs are my favorite, 😊 Thanks so much for watching!
So is it whipped soap or is it foaming soap base I know there is a difference at one time you said it was foaming and then you said it was whipped soap base or is it a mixture when newbies are still learning we need the exact name Thank you
Wow! Amazingly beautiful!!!! I would like to try and make these for my goddaughter's birthday as favors😊 so do I make soap base first? Do I let it harden? Or whip as soon as it's all combined? I saw you take it out of a jar, do I put it in a jar and let sit for a few days if so how many days? Also do they have to cure like a CP soap? Sorry for all the questions, I've seen so many tutorials but none look like your consistency they all look runny. I thank you in advance your your help and video😊
Beauty By Bredice hi! First the “soap” base I took out of the jar is a Foaming Bath Butter. It is not actually soap. It is a surfactant based cream cleanser. The formula for the Foaming Bath Butter base can be purchased from DIY Bath and Body Shop on Etsy, if you use the code WBS20 it will save you some $! The Foaming Bath Butter formulation is a semi solid base, that I add additional ingredients depending on my wants/needs. (Oils, clays, color) no cure time is needed. You can actually purchase a Foaming Bath Butter base that is already made, instead of making it from scratch. That base however does have a tinnier consistency. This would make your finished product, looser/runny. I hope this has helped you! If you have more questions please just ask!
Does that mean that you just whip the base mixture, add mica and fragrance....we wouldn't need to add more oils during the whipping / mixing process please? x
Thank you for sharing! is this actual soap? Is it the recipe you listed? I thought I saw you scoop it out of a container? I would love to try and make some for my granddaughter.... Happy Holidays
Beauty By Bredice this is a base I make using a recipe that can be purchased from Etsy. I have a link listed in the description box. The recipe listed is for cold Process soap😁 thanks so much for watching! Happy Holidays to you also! 🎄
So nice! Question..when i add micas to my base, my colors are not bright. I use Nurture soap micas. I don't want to add a ton of it in fear that it may stain the skin or tub. Any suggestions?
Zoe Askew The base recipe is from a recipe I purchased from DIY Bath and Body Shop on Etsy. It is the best base and formula I have ever used. I use a variety of colorant suppliers but my favorites are from nurture soap, Stardust Mica and Mad Mica. All three of these suppliers have very Potent and beautiful micas/colorants. Thank you for watching and your support.
Do you find you get a thicker and heavier consistency making your base from scratch? I'm getting more of an air whipped light whipped soap from store base and want it a little thicker and heavier if that makes sense. This texture looks a lot more full than what I'm getting and it looks great! Bought the recipe, just gotta actually try it out now :)
Fo Shizzle My Fizzle Bath I actually feel like the base from the recipe is lighter and fluffy compared to the others on the market. Once you try this recipe out you will love it! I know I do! I am currently working on a comparative video of the three bases available. CrystaL OPC, Bath Whip and Foaming Bath Butter. Each one has its own qualities and place to use them. Let me know how things turn out when you make the recipe😁
Hey there! I'm new here and had a few questions plz! My daughter would Love some of this soap! But she has kinda sensitive skin and has eczema from time to time. So would this be ok for her to use? And is the coupon still good? I saw someone say they got some for only $3. That's awesome!!! Or do u have a new customer sampler we could buy to try it? Thanks so much for sharing!
Welcome! thanks so much for your questions. This product is made using really gentle surfactant's, they are plant based. The base includes Glycerin. Glycerin is a humectant and Jojoba oil is added after the base is made. Both are very skin nourishing and soothing. I have this product in my shower and use this on my daughter all the time, she has young sensitive skin and we have had no issue. However, I would never say "Yes! it is totally fine to use for very sensitive skin". Lot's of really gentle skincare and cleansers can irritate the skin. So I suggest trying a small patch test to see if irritation occurs. I have never had complaint, but everyone's skin is different. I have actually had many people tell me this made their skin look and feel amazing. Again, please do your own research, and testing! The coupon is for the actual formulation of the base used in this video. That can be purchased from DIY Bath and Body Shop on Etsy. The code IS still good. ( Just to be clear, it is to purchase the recipe not that actual product) I promote the formulation for free because it is awesome! I sell products i make using the base and I also sell the basic base before additives are added. All can be found in my etsy store. (Link in Description box). I'd be more than happy to send you a sample of some Foaming bath butter to do a patch test. Email me at Whitebuoysoaps@gmail.com to give me your address. :) I should make a sampler pack what a great idea! That would be really helpful for folks who have never seen/used or heard of this type of product! As for the $3 sale that was only a short celebration sale during the time we hit 300 subscribers here on RU-vid. I hope this was helpful, and I want to thank you for watching. Please email me so I can send out a sample for you!
White Buoy Soaps hey there. I just put a message on another video. I emailed u but my email has been messing up so if u didn't get it I'm sorry. I can give u my email address and u can email me first and I could give u my information and see if that works. Thanks so much again!
avner girl the consistency is much like a thick Mousse. Airy, light and creamy. Much like a frosting it stays soft. You could use your hand to dip out however I encourage people to use a spatula to avoid contaminating the jar. 😊 thanks so much for your questions I hope this helps!
White Buoy Soaps Yes, ty. And I didn’t even think of contaminating the product left in the jar. I liked the green you used in this soap, the first normal green I have seen since I first started watching these videos a few weeks ago. I was thinking there must be an issue creating the green colorant(?), cuz everyone’s green looks flushed. Kinda like its mixed with gray or an odd blue and white? Anyways, I just checked out your video list; you have created some very nice color combos!
Beautiful Bath Whip !!! How are you able to make at a fraction of the cost ? I purchased this recipe from Sandra and her and I have discussed that we are always looking to source the ingredients at good prices. Right now I’m paying the same amount to make as I could to buy pre made. I prefer making it also as I love it and like to make every part of my products. Please share how to make at fraction of cost I would so appreciate that !
Everyone has different overhead costs. We also have enormous shipping variations. Then we all buy from a variety of suppliers. Amounts of ingredients you purchase also affect the final cost also. SO what may work for me in a Fraction of the cost may not work for you in this case. I wish I had an amazing answer for you, I am sorry i don't. What i can say is I often do bulk buying, use coupon codes, also i am part of many rewards programs and email lists. I stay up to date on any company I purchase from social media accounts to watch for flash sales/codes/deals. Sandra is amazing, she is very kind and so HELPFUL! I am happy you like her base, It truly is amazing. I thank you for your question and for watching my video(s). Again I am sorry i didn't have the best answer!
White Buoy Soaps thank you for your quick reply !! You are right, depends on where we live, shipping cost etc. Buying pre made isn’t an option for me any more since making this one. I love the quality of it as do my customers. I will continue watching, and great job on your videos!! They really do help so many learn and grow 😊
Shiela Mauldin-Brown that are the same thing as puppy pads but no these are not actually for puppy’s. The work awesome to protect the surface your working on and to keep things sanitary, if you need that.
I have purchased this recipe through Etsy but I am using up the remaining that I have of the premade from Crafter's Choice. I am having issues with the premade losing it's fluff and becoming a flop. They claim to whip the CC for 10 minutes but if I did that, it would be 5 times its size so I whip only until doubled. Does Sandra's recipe stay fluffed up?
Yes, It does hold it's fluff! I am currently testing two major brands of Foaming Bath whip against Sandra's recipe. I find Mrs. Sandra's is in the front of the line! On so many levels. Fluff, whipping time, scent retention, overall odor out of the package (everything has a scent) Honestly it truly is my favorite. it is not as Dense as the other stuff either. Much lighter, airy. Hope this helps and thanks so much for watching!
Okay can some educate me please, how do u use the soap? Like is it for washing your hands, or do u put a glob on your loufa when you shower? As bubble bath?
This product is a cream soap, you use a spatula to dispense the product. Use it on a cloth, scrub or with your hand. it can be used in your Hair, on your face, and body. It can be used to shave with. A really cool product! It could be used as a bubble bath. It has great foam! I am uploading a video as i write this to demonstrate how this foaming bath butter is used. Thanks so much for your question!
This is not a dumb question, I recommend use with in a year, However I have had some last longer. You have to gauge time based on the shelf life of the Oil you use as an additive. Also it makes sense to use any type of cosmetic within a year from purchase or production. The whipped aspect to the product should remain intact through the life of the product. Hope this helps!
Yes, I use a vanilla color stabilizer, you can use the one for Melt and Pour Or Lotions+ Washes. Either one will work. The ones I am talking about are from WSP. www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/products/vanilla-color-stabilizer-lotions-washes.aspx Thanks for watching and Great question!
Waiting for one more ingredient did not order enough...but tell me what is the consistency of this product and how do u use it? Does it get harder? Can u put on a puff for the shower? U supplied little spatulas? Where might u get these? Thanks for your time !!
The consistency is like chocolate mousse. Very airy and Light. It won't get hard it will always be very soft. You can use this with your hand, a sponge, a loofah or a washcloth. The spatulas I provide with purchase are from Two Wild Hares on ETSY. You can get them a variety of places though. Just search cosmetic spatulas. I hope this has been helpful thanks for watching!
Hello, just found this vid today. This soap looks beautiful and I was looking for it but didn't see it on Etsy...also I'm wondering if its possible to make any of the soaps without palm oil? I've read that its often not sustainably sourced and is contributing big time to the destruction of the rainforests where orangutans live.
JustMe215 we are currently restocking this rainbow foaming bath butter after the holiday. We should have more on the site by the 6-6-18. I only use suppliers that have a authenticity certificate for being responsibility sourced palm oil. The majority of the soaps listed in our shop use either a Lard or tallow base right now. I am not currently making soap without any one of these three products but I could. If youd like I could also link a few wonderful shops that carry vegan soaps or soaps made without palm, tallow or Lard. Thanks for watching, hope his was helpful 😉
I have no reason to believe it would "go flat" It does not include any butters so it should remain stable. I have had mine out in the heat for an entire afternoon without issue. Not direct sunlight, just heat. (I have a large canopy) I will test this out today. I will put some out in direct sun for a few hours and see what happens. You are not the first person to ask so lets test it out! My pre test thoughts are it will be fine :)
NO it shouldn't I have never had an issue and I do fairs, Festivals outside. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! I have a shower full of a variety of scents and colors. I has taken over...lol. !
Okay, so I just showered and used the whipped soap, I want to let you know that I am hooked. The scent was amazing, not overpowering. The consistency is exactly how I thought it would be. My skin is super soft. I’ll be for sure purchasing more for myself and my daughter. Wonderful products!!!!
