Demonstrating how soft the face needs to be is so helpful! I hadn't realized that was what I'd been doing wrong and I was ready to give up. I can't believe I'm excited to do more RH eye swaps!! Thank you for this video!
Sweetheart, I have over 100 of these dolls and have swapped the eyes on every last one. I wrap the doll from the neck to torso with a silk head wrap protecting the shoulders (because the heat will cause them to separate at the shoulder then you have to replace the body) then put the entire doll in a flat iron silicon sleeve and clip it closed at the shoulders then blow-dry the face until its soft then pop the eyes out and swap them. I have silicon finger protectors too because the vinyl is hot. Your method was effective but you're scaring me 😂 You're going to hurt your dolls!
I’m scared of dying the hair! I’ll make a video just doing it since I’ve never done it before! Customizing can be scary but once you plan it out and you start the only thing left if finishing it❤ i hope you do your eye swap one day 🤗💕
@@hectorrsworld thanks! I appreciate the supportive words. I just really want an Amaya Raine that looks like how she looks in the series. Sometimes the box art, doll and series versions just don't match up. Don't know if it's just me that noticed.
