I am 58 years old, always loved music grew up listening to Iggy Pop the Ramones Blondie but I also loved Jazz like Billie Holiday and my mother always used to play the Beatles and the mamas and the Papas. I love Fleetwood Mac Bob Marley, Tom Petty I’ve always liked an eclectic of music and of course the 90s had epic music as well. I suppose I turned my children a variety of music during their life, my 27 year-old son turned me on great music over the years. He introduced me to RKS ABOUT FOUR YEARS AGO, THEY HAVE BECOME ONE OF MY FAVORITE BANDS. One day I was cleaning the house listening to them and he happened to stop by. He walked in and he smiled at me… He said you like this fan huh? I said yes thank you for introducing them to me. He said well thank you for introducing me to a world full of different types of music, it has gotten me through life. Him saying that to me made my heart jump, knowing that even one day when I’m gone, he will hear a song, and it will bring him back to a time with me, and he will always have those memories.
I'm 48. My 9 year old just introduced me to them about a week ago and I just adore them! I'm also a huge Iggy Pop fan! I got to see The Stooges live, which was amazing! I never expected my kid to get me into so much music, but he really has! It started when he was 3!
I swear if I had the money and never had to work. I would just follow RKS like the grateful dead to every concert. Just bought 2 day tickets to the Charlotte, NC concert. I am so excited! 2 days with RKS ❤❤💃💃💃
I feel you. I just lost my job and can't afford shit but seriously considering spending 150 bucks on their concert by me. I know it would be so worth it to be so irresponsible right now. Ugh. I wanna gooooooo.
I see them tomorrow night with GREAT seats. I am beyond stoked. These guys have easily become one of my all time favorites and I've been IN LOVE with all music since I was a child. I am now 35.... LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOO!!!!!
OMG THANKS YOU SOOO MUCH FOR UPLOADING THIS!! This was my first time see them and omg I was blown away. One of my fam was playing them the night before at our a campsite and I had to go see them and I’m happy I choose them over subtronics that night!! The vibe that night was just unbelievable and unreal!
Dude holy shit my first time seeing rks too, it’s my boyfriend and I’s all time favorite band hands down. Hearing live music like this after two days and nights of Edm was MAGICAL. Ily forest fam
I herd our song on Spotify and was like damn this dude has a crazy voice I gotta look up a live version then it blew my mind it was a chick then I was like damn this chick has the coolest voice ever.
🤣 look a lil deeper my man's name is darrick Keller. Some of the songs they made absolutely changed my life. And he was 100% a man when I first experience it. I'm so glad he didn't decide to change his voice
@@daydreamers703Darrick does background vocals the lead singer is ela known as Sam before she came out as trans and referring to her as him and he is incredibly disrespectful and transphobic
I drove across the country from Michigan to south Carolina to see them at High water festival and me and my kid are going to see them two more times this year. I'm not rich either. They are just that good. Make it happen, you'll never regret it!!!
Pls come to Australia , we need an RKS injection. They announced Taylor Swift today and I wished we could swap her with RKS and front row her to what I know would be an epic/needed education for her and her tribe and me..... well bring it on I can't wait. I'm looking for flights because sometimes you just gotta feed the soul so as to continue on and know somewhere, sometimes shit is going down that you just have to experience.......
