I love the JLT era of Rainbow. Classy melodic hard rock/AOR which was still heavy and progressive at times. I saw this lineup in Philly in 1982 (Scorpions and Riot opened!) and it was fantastic. Blackmore is a god. Keyboardist Dave Rosenthal and drummer Chuck Burgi (who joined after this tour replacing Bobby Rondinelli, who later played with BOC and Sabbath) have been in Billy Joel’s band for tons of years
Rainbow ROCKS! Real ROCKS! Real 80s sound. And i like also a this SPECIAL sytnh effect i can hear at some moments. I like Synthesizers for the last time. It is a new thing for me. And music, guitar and vocal rocks. Some moments it is as overdrived as Motorhead 80s. I think.Classic 80s music. Era with a REAL music! Listen music, man!
Even though they had so many line up changes, their music never failed. I grew up with Deep Purple and of course Rainbow 🌈 Such a great period to hold. So glad to have been part of that era. Buying the vinyls or cassettes as it was back then. I treasure them 🌈
Underrated song, one of my favorite's of the Turner era. Of course, I'll take anything with Dio over anything with Turner, but still. God Ritchie's awesome. Still the best.
@@cryptoking7093 Album was good but Ian couldn't sing in concerts very well. He destroyed his voice while with Black Sabbath (and Deep Purple before that).
@@bolinfan1519 maybe you saw a concert when he was fatigued. We singers have it tough, everybody expects perfection every show and nothing in the known universe is perfect. Seems an unrealistic standard. I've heard Dio struggle once in awhile and he kept his voice strong throughout. Ian was badass with Sabbath.
