@@iaxacs3801 yeah that’s what I though too Maybe it’s like flash bangs are less effective passively but when his ability is active it makes him completely immune and can see through smoke on the move
Have actually seen him get picked a lot more recently in ranked matches. He's fun to use on certain bombsites where smoke rush plants are meta like archives on Border. I can't begin to describe the degree of arousal experienced when you play as Warden and hear a smoke grenade go off.
I love how the moment I'm not playing warden, I'm suddenly being rushed by Ying Ash Blitz a smok tossing Glaz in the corner and Finka planting after a boost, wishing I had Warden so I'd not die to it But the moment I pick warden, nobody bring any flashes or smokes, invalidating my gadget. Sad times for Flanders
@@FactorialGhost Even before attacker repick this happened to me, they just didn't flash unless I died or they knew I wasn't on site. Now that it's here? They can see Warden and just reset to not being flashes and smokes. Real pain
They could add a tactical ability similar to the proximity mine crossed with thorn but with a flash so it'd stick to whatever and would make a sound to warn the attackers to run then they'd have say 3 seconds to block the flash. It would work and last the same as a standard flash bang like buck has
one of the main problems i had when i was a Warden main was that very few people that i fought would use ying or smokes. occasionally they would use flashes but usually they wouldnt even be used against me :( i did enjoy messing with Blitz tho, they think they can flash and just shoot you then you pop their head
I actually dislike the idea of him getting his own smokes. However: I always thought about the buff, that his cool-glasses are unlimited. Similar to Jackal's eyenox, he can activate and deactivate it whenever he wants, without limitations. PS: and let him see through smoke while moving, I hate that you have to stand still lol
It’d be better to just rework just rework to not have to stand still to see through smoke, but to balance that out, make seeing through smoke more like tunnel vision.
Either give him smoke impacts, or improve the glasses so it highlights visible enemies. This way you can use his ability in each round and not just some rounds.
Tbh warden as a surprise pick, even with attacker round prep change, has some great clutch moments for me when a smoke and I are stalling out defuser planting.
What if warden had a passive that was like Dokkebi, where he could pick up smokes or flashes from dead attackers, and it would replace his secondary gadget, so he couldn't use it in tandem with a C4.
Gosh, I have to play Warden someday. I haven't played him in a long ass time. 8:50 - I once (a bot-still console player) versed a player who used that on me with a red dot and jeezus his accuracy is crazy. Slow sens but crazy accuracy. Mapped me at range and I wanted to uninstall but reinstalling will take like 4-6 hours on rest mode. 9:10 - Kini sounded like he had a seizure or just lost brain cells at that moment there lol
I think the biggest buff they can give warden is changing his name to something less intimidating so noobs don't accidently purchase him thinking he sounds op
what if they buff warden like this: you dont manually activate his ability,instead his ability is constantly activate, the ability will only consume when there is smoke/flash in player's sight, and with a colddown timer say 5~10s then need to recharge
Wardens ability should be more like jackals ability where its stays on as long as you want but they can get blurry when getting shot and should be able to be turnt off by EMP grenades & maybe after they can come up with an attacker that's like mute where you can jam abilities in certain areas to help counter this buff idea.
Giving warden smokes would make him a smoke/goyo/tachanka alternative and I think that’s a great idea. But since his is the least passive and also most aggressive, it could flirt with the line of too op or not strong at all. We need to push for it and find out
In my opinion, he needs some resistance to explosive and fire damage as well. That way he can survive Grenades, or Capitão's Fire Arrows, he should just be an all around counter to gadgets. Go a step further too, put a mute jammer on his back and we can walk around with that passively and can crouch up to walls to jam them. They should just go all out in immunities, make him far less situational
It would probably be hard to balance, but what if he was reworked to instantly switch to cams (or a single deployed cam). It would fit his character, name, and gadget better imo. Or maybe it can be a half opacity camera overlay that allows him to move around with decreased visibility, similar to jackal's gadget.
I would love if they tested if defenders had smokes on defense. They have to be willing to take risks, or do simple test to make the game more into what we want
The game design for R6 Defenders tends to have short-sight sight / impact nades for making hole,finishing enemies / proximity alarm for certain areas and mostly cameras for intel. On the other hand attackers have breacher materials both soft and hard to create angle or plant site for the team and set the stage this is where flashbang and smoke came in because they could flush out the hiding defenders or smoke the area to do the planting. Idk but Warden will NEVER gets the stun or smoke for sure. (Maybe Ubi might add it in test server) Above is only my opinion and observation don’t take it seriously.
Maybe give him ELAs flash when she’s downed or up, maybe three that recharges after use. It could have a range of a certain kind and be a little weaker but do a full area of flash unlike Blitz. Then he’s resistant if he uses his glasses, the enemy flashes and smokes are still pretty dependent on the enemy team but it would help a little.
honestly, just swap the glasses out for some kind of reactive armour or adrenal boost. Give him a temporary health boost in addition to his cc reduction and throw in some blast resistance. Make him a reverse blackbeard who punishes bad aim and actually behaves like a bodygaurd.
Safe to say that bikini only succeeded in pulling off Warden gadget only enough to make this video and no other times. This is all the clips he was able to get of him pulling it off.
