I think the solution to buffing warden while also balancing Ying is simple: nerf Blackbeard and buff Ela back to her release version.

They need to rework warden, ash, and jager. Ubisoft keeps making changes to certain operators that DONT need any work dont at this moment. Nobody uses warden, his gun is not that good, his ability isnt useful like it should be intended, and jager has too much utility and is picked TOO much. Its annoying that Ubisoft makes changes to ying when everyone in the community told them she would be too powerful, yet we said to balence jager by taking one of his ads’ away and instead they try to “nerf” him by decreasing his AR damage and not understanding the community’s viewpoint on it... Really frustrating as a siege player

Buck was a golden boy that didn't bother anyone unlike 3 speed peekers advantage or 5 invisible mines dealing half your health, which some people complain about. I didn't hear a single thing about buck.

idk if its new devs or what but either way: this was a good example of what not to do with trying to make balance changes. Community was shouting for this to go another way about it and now, we are just almost back at square 1 with her.

We have yet to see if more needs to be done, but rolling back her candelas was the play. I play Ying, and having 4 candelas made me way too much of a menace.

i guess i understand why they did the ying buff. defenders are op due to too much utility. so give ying more because she is on attack but they need to balance it across the board for attackers.

I just stopped playing the game a little before Ying got buffed. That buff only extended my hiatus from this game, so I’m glad to see she got nerfed so soon. Maybe I’ll actually come back soon.

Tl;dr: 5 throwables is perfect sweet-spot in my opinion. It changes where Jaeger has to hold and how many offensive ops need to be dedicated to dealing with him. 1 will get through instead of 2. Explanation: It means Ying can still single handedly over-power 2 jaeger devices and have 1 throwable get through (instead of 2 with 6 throwables) making backup assistance for Jaeger more important, such as a Warden for vision, a Kawamaii adding a little icing on top with 1 or 2 extra gadgets sapped(1 and 2 not coincidental in my opinion for kawamaii's starting gadgets), or maybe a goyo shield to pop off when ying tries to push hard. It means Jaeger can no longer hold a spot and be invincible to throwables unless you dedicate 4 operators throwing flash bangs in at him......(hint hint) I find this specific information very important due to recent pro league matches. Specifically on Bank holding those blue stairs. To me this is dialing down jaegers power by increasing someone else's who needs it (the best kind of way to change a meta). Offering strong throwables as an avenue. With Capitau on the ban wave, Ying and Zofia could be dirty now for pro league! This will result in Jaeger needing a backup gunner to make the same kind of hold OR forcing the fight to evolve across space using a stall-retreat (much like goyo) instead of a 1 man, anti-projectile, stonewall hold with a powerful weapon.

I think that the Ying buff was a good thing, particularly as it comes to Warden. I think that either buffing warden or making the things he counters more common is definitely necessary, his pick rate and win delta are just horrendous

This is not a nerf, it's an adjustment to a buff. For it to be a nerf it would have needed to be live in the first point.

So I agree with the fact that this buff to ying having 4 candela Was in my opinion a little pointless I think they just wanted her to be played more but let me say this ying having 4 condelas gave the community more of a reason to play warden because warden is a very situational character who doesn't get played a lot a lot because his gadgett most of the time is useless because he is such a situational character and not all the time are you gonna pick him every Round so in my opinion ying with 4 condelas makes warden a character to bring more into matches

Just reverse everything that happened this season. Jager to 1 speed..(tbh now used to it), nades for buck, super shotty for mozz. These changes were unnecessary n shouldn't have been the top priorities. Edit: 3 speed jager** 2 speed jager right now is ok but jager will never be the same

I really hope they fix the matchmaking when u change the server..me and my friend play in asia server then 4man party enemy is gold/plat player from europe rekt us..really hate that kind of features at least keep the rank so they can matchmake with other gold/plat player in asia not reset it to copper.
