2 of the golds might deserve plat but this match was the same thing that they have experienced in ranked games, they play with the guys that are definitely gold. Nice vid
undercover plat in a diamond lobby idea is really smart, cuz even a diamond can have a bad game so it'd be interesting to see them turn against eachother

RL skill gap between these 2 ranks are different. Plats and golds are both shit if i can come back after not playing the game for 6-9 months and hit plat 2 plat 1 every break i have.
I like the idea of having 4 Diamonds and 1 "imposter" Diamond... but could it be the other way around? 4 Golds and 1 "imposter" Gold (That is Plat or Diamond) vs The same idea

@Joshua Schmidt I feel u, I deserve diamond this season in stuck plat 1 this season bad team with a 1.7 KD just so hard to find a good team idk how it's so easy finding a decent team lower ranks
you know, I did think I deserved plat for the longest time. I was hard stuck gold 1. Eventually, I hit plat, boy I was not ready for the skill jump. There is a definite gap in skill even between gold and plat. However, I was able to keep plat for a couple seasons before I stopped playing. Granted this was about two years ago. Haven't played much since.
I think it's a mixed bag, I've played v Plats who I honestly think are deaf and blind(maybe having a bad game or w/e). But then I've played V Plats who feel like I'm playing v a cheater lmao.
The problem with golds is they think they deserve platinum rank but are not critical of themselves. It’s gonna take a lot more game knowledge to make it to platinum. Not just “my teammates are bad”
The beginning is so true. For awhile I always blamed teammates when I was a gold for losing the game. I realized just how good I could be if I used my head. So I started solo queueing and relying on myself to clutch. Best thing I did because two season after I started, I solo queued to plat and earned the status.
before I even watch this, you have to remember that golds sometimes have lucky games, where they're so unpredictable that it breaks the brains of high elo. lol

I completely disagree with the statement “it’s my teammates fault that I’m not plat” While it can be at times Ive solo qued to plat multiple times and can confidently say its not just your teammates it’s also has to do with how you play with your randoms
What ive learned in a couple of weeks in ranked is to never play with randoms, playing with friends is always the best option, also that there are a lot of MNK cheaters on console
Dude i solo q to plat too but every time 1 game b4 plat u playing against a 5 Stack while u have brain dead mates(my experience) so if u dont carry them all u can't hit plat
its so true, like i have friends that are gifted mechanically but they are hardstuck bronze casue they just cant do teamwork. They have that mindset that their team should do certain things and they dont gotta say anything. ~~and usually what their team should be doing is supporting them XD~~
I recently started playing siege again but I’m so inconsistent like one day I’ll drop 10+ kills every game but another I’ll just barely go positive it’s so annoying 🗿

i play to win and not for frags. i have a 0.88 KD for that reason. Lots of players say i shouldnt be plat1 due to my kd but im usually the one clutching rounds and games because i dont look to frag out
Should do a tourny, silver v silver gold v gold, etc. Get the best 2 from each game and put them all on a team so each team would be one of each silver, gold plat diamond, champ.
The one time I attempted rank was when no other players could join, which was added many seasons later. I was stuck with 1 or 2 teammates for 8/10 games. Which is why I get ptsd whenever I play lmao. But nice video.. first quote of the vid rlly got me thinking 🤔
I was a hard stuck gold for the longest time when I solo queued, I finally found a group of friends to play with that don’t drop donuts every match and I went from g1 to p1 in 2 seasons lmao. Half the time someone says “I should be plat” it’s not true but I played some pretty insanely good people that were hard stuck gold before, it’s not always true
i did the same but most of the reason i got out of g1 to p1 is that they helped me improve in the spots i was lacking. such as dont be afraid to use the mute/smoke shotgun and being aggressive instead of passive at times helps a lot.
@@bigboatstuff3383 honestly, don’t even bother on forums or discords, they are filled by people with egos and put you down. Rare to find good people that way. Only true way to find good people is solo queue and chat with the people that actually communicate and are positive to you even in a bad situation. I’m always happy to help anyone
I think this was a perfect video of 90% of solo matches in mid ranks. Your either on the team with the mega carry or you lose. You can even be the carry but it always seems when you carry in gold you get the team mates that have no mics or game sense. Then you just get dogged on by the high plat 10,000 hours in Aimlab kid that's in low gold lobbies because they either threw or got unlucky in placements. Not to mention the game is so fucking dead and you cant really tell if someone who is good is hacking or not anymore. I've just started on PC after switching from console and have already had multiple reports result in bans based off suspicion of walls.
It’d be cool to do a twist on the video where the golds trade 1 player with the plats and then each team gives their opinions on how that player performed afterwards
For me I know at the moment I’m a solid low silver and I deserve to be there, no higher. To improve self evaluation is very important, I was a competitive call of duty player for around 4 years, I moved to R6 having the same mind set and I was so wrong, but my point is if you can’t self evaluate then you’ll never improve.
most plat players don't realize they're going to need to step up their game and stop using silver/gold strats, or just youtube strats in general the plat rank is literally just a higher gold, a plat can be better or way worse than a gold just like a silver can be worse than a gold. but seeing this rly confirms that's plat and gold is mostly the same
you can get out of gold solo which is what i did. Three big things i suggest, first: find the dpi and sensitivity that you are able to control the best on any weapon. Second: do not main one or two specific operators, practice with the ones you will need most on both sides for any map. Third: do not play to frag out, play to win the round even if that means hiding at the end in a 1v1 or even letting them plant to give you a few more seconds of a better chance of winning. I did those three things because i was hard stuck gold, i was able to get plat 3 consistently, now im stuck consistently in high plat 1/ borderline diamond 3. If you would really like, when im available, i am more than willing to help you out in customs to get better.
From the players I’ve coached, plats usually are good about that initial clear of anybody out of position, but then they struggle tremendously with clearing anchors or understanding win conditions.
I'm gonna keep it real with you chief, anytime I'm one game away from plat I lose, I have not won that game, I go back and forth so hard in gold 1 that I get whiplash and its not because I have bad teammates it is because I am hated by god.
How did the Plat Osa in the first round not die? It’s so easy to shoot her arms while she’s deploying a shield. (Source: I’m an osa main who gets killed a lot so I’m salty 😂)
I used to main osa (now i main zofia) is it normal that some enemies are able to kill you through the shield?? Ive had that happen so much :( Edit: it isnt from an angle they just shoot the shield itself and i die

@@peterthethird9285 When I was playing 2 years ago, I was bad and I got silver every season, but now I'm better and every season I play in, they classify me as bronze, and I couldn't get better because of the bad with me in the team

As a fellow hardstuck gold I can attest it is never the teammates. Don't get me wrong I know some people that are golds that are like almost play but they never keep it for long. Gold gang just kinda be like that, imo it's the hardest step to go from gold to play then anything else and is where most players get stuck.

The difference in play style between Gold and Platinum is insane. Broke into Plat in Void Edge and it went from rush NOW to 30 second meta. I failed to adjust and fell into Gold again. Still got the Platinum charm though.
