"Bad boy".... Rain is a solid 40 year old man in 2022, come on!! I remember one article from a decade ago stating he was overrated bc his vocals were "breathy". He was on his late 20s-early 30s at that time. And being able to hear Rain on the mic, overpowering the backing track with his own voice, is what I like the most of his singing. With this decade's rise on backtrack reliance/pre-recorded live vocals/barely any live vocals, I want the humanity of live singing to come back. 40-year-old Ji Hoon can afford to sing less now due to the stamina at his age (his Why Don't We performances with Chungha are more similar to the current standard as a result. He heavily relied on a backing track, although he didn't lipsync, à la BoA nowadays) but the young blood in the industry are still on their 20s and are not given that much of an opportunity to showcase their live vocals more extensively. On an additional note, he rocks turtlenecks and black clothing. I love his trousers here in particular.
