Hitting Trestle Bike Park's (Winter Park, CO) famous "Rainmaker". Super fun downhill run captured at 960p/48fps on GoPro HD Hero 2. Feedback is appreciated!
I keep watching this vid trying to learn the trail, I'm heading to Denver next month and plan to rent one of their bikes and hit this trail. Maybe I can catch up to y'all here in the ATX. Thanks for the video.
I see what you mean. Sometimes video software a will drop frames or reduce quality in order to save in a smaller space, so when you export them just make sure that you save in the highest quality. Even though it will take up a ton of space. Like I believe this video was 2.3GB of memory.
I don't live in CO, so I don't own a dh bike, but the bike in the video is a Trek Session 9.9 Carbon Team. It's sooo sick. The bike that I ride in Texas is a Trek Remedy 7.
If it starts off fine, then goes fuzzy, that is because of RU-vid. RU-vid changes the image quality in order to load the video faster. Try going to the page where you play your videos, click the settings icon, then select a higher quality, then wait for it to load.
Ok thanks for helping. So i clicked the RU-vid settings button that is under my channel name when i clicked on it. then i went to playback and checked the box that said "Always play HD on fullscreen (when available)". Am i doing this right because when i went back to watch one of my videos it still came out the same fuzzy quality after 3 seconds? Or is there a different way i should be doing it? Thanks
Ok but did I do the right steps to make it higher quality. My video has always had the option to choose 1080p HD when on the video itself page. But even when that is selected on the tab its always become fuzzy and blurred within the first 3 seconds of the video playing. So am i doing the right steps?
Ok i've tried both final cut pro x and imovie always exporting in 1080p HD and no matter what i try to do its always the same fuzzy quality even when in 1080p watch mode. I do have a slower wifi connection, so should i try uploading a video and waiting a full day until i watch it or...? Any suggestions? Also my videos from last year that were shot in 960p and it isnt fuzzy at all, so do u know what that means?
Ok thanks I did export them into 1080p but if u go look at my No Quarter video from Trestle you can tell that it starts off good but then almost right away becomes fuzzy and blurred even when in 1080p selected. Can you look to see if im right about that? Help is appreciated Thanks
you can take a hardtail on anything, just got to have the balls and be able to hit the jumps with good speed and pump the humps all the time to keep momentum.
Not much going on in norcal till the bike parks open but socal is jam packed i heard. I still need to check it out. Once the parks open tho just himme up i'm always ripping norcal!
Then that's probably an issue with your video editing software. If you export in the highest quality, and you have a strong, fast wifi connection while giving the vid time to load, then you will see that crisp hd picture on RU-vid. N
Ok thanks it's just that when I uploaded my videos after exporting in 1080p which was original quality it seems blurry and stretched out. Check out my videos and see if I'm right. Thanks
So I'm a noob to Mountain Biking and I want to know where good trails are in Northern Colorado???? Any help is welcome. Oh by the way, I ride a hardtail from Specialized
Hell yeah man. I drove from Austin, TX it was totally worth it. If you want to check out another place, Snowshoe Mountain in West Virginia is another good one. Never been there, but I'm pretty sure there are roughly the same number of trails as Trestle. And it looks almost equidistant as Trestle, in relation to LA.
