Your more relaxed so Winston can feel he can relax. They know when their mommas are upset. Also, My sister’s boxer had acknowledged problems and developed arthritis. Her vet recommended cbd tincture for her. We carried Talyoni brand at the salon supply store where I worked so I would pick it up for her. It worked great. The vet also recommended coconut oil. You’d definitely want to get dosage info from your vet but it’s another option for Winston. Hope he continues to feel good! 🥰🐶
Oh my, that mid summer heat did not bother me all time I lived in Phoenix. The first 5 years I did not even have AC in my old car. I am 72 now and still not bothered by the heat. I am so greatful for that!
There's a mountain out there called Greens Peak. Years ago back in the 80's there was a road to the top. Probably still is cause it had a lot of towers on it. Anyways if the road is open it's a nice seanic view of the mountains. Can't miss Greens Peak it doesn't have a lot of trees on it kinda like the meadow your at. It's been 26 or 27 years since I've been up there. I did grow up in Lakeside and graduated from Blue Ridge High School many moons ago. I'm enjoying your videos of the mountain. Keep up the good work and have safe travels.
I've had the same down here in Southern AZ. Stsyimg in too much in air. Getting cooler and feel much better and move much better. So I feel for wynston
So happy Wynston is feeling better! Makes my heart happy too. I agree with the seasonal depression from the heat. I have a few health issues & absolutely can't take heat at all. It's been so hot here in KS this summer. Today was 105. I just get so down because I can't get out at all for the heat. It helps me watching you being in the cooler weather & seeing the beautiful scenery so thank you for sharing that! Your van looked so comfy during the rain. Love a good thunderstorm. Thanks for your videos Amanda. Stay well & safe!
This has been my first Arizona summer and I have been miserable. (I'm originally from New England.) Part of it is missing friends back "home". But the heat and the sun and the air conditioning have been getting to me. Looking forward to cooler weather so i can get out and explore more.
I noticed Wynston's leg shaking in your last video and was going to mention it but didn't have time at the moment. I'm glad to hear that he's okay. I'll stop worrying about him.
When a person’s cortisol is high a dog can recognize it. That’s what some dogs are trained to recognize it. So glad you are calming down and now Winston can calm down.
I loved seeing Wynston running when you were walking down the dirt road. The way he moves his little tail looked so cute too. I’m glad you’re both feeling better and more relaxed. Positivity makes a difference. That was a really nice camp area. I hope you don’t mind me saying that I have called doctor’s offices many times for my parents, and checked to see if there was a cancellation. It didn’t always work, but sometimes I got lucky. Trying to be proactive is worth a shot. Maybe Brock can be a test subject to see how it looks in the shower tent under different times of the day. As late as you take your shower. Maybe even do it yourself by putting something inside the tent and you can look yourself. Or even how noisy (running water sounds) it could be too. It may not be useful at all, but definitely you could get an idea of how much it is or isn’t visible. Just a thought. You don’t need to respond either. But if you try it just to see if it makes any difference. What you suggested, being prepared is a good idea. Sorry for the long comment. Hugs to Wynston. ❤❤❤
OMG I love Greer! So fun to see Running Dog. Warms my heart. You live in the center of alternative healing methods. There is great consolation in experimenting with crystals, Reiki, whatever attracts you. All the Native American influence is powerful too. That said, I also believe in modern tools of healing. I am a retired RN who lived in Sedona for several years. Love to you and your Son.😊
my Sheapard rescue is 17 later this months. He will no longer eat his regular food only smelly fish cod skins and only treats... I have many treats he also has restroom problems so diaper rash treatmet is now the norm. Vet said he could pass anyday that was last year. We both are in the long haul, I WIIL NOT PUT HIM DOWN...only if he shows pain and discomfort...none seen so far... like your show. dnicely
I once tried to knock a wasp out of the air using a long, heavy pry bar. It made me so slow that that wasp got me multiple times. Sledge hammer may be the same.
Do you have pet insurance and which kind? And yeah, I think about that every time I see nomads set up a shower tent. I'm like oh god, I don't know if I can do it. I would have to have something pretty intense in the shower with me. I saw a channel for these 2 Canadian girls camping wayyyyy out in the middle of Crown Land (public land), and 1 girl was walking a dog while the other girl was in the RV and some random dude just walked up out of nowhere, acting shady, not knowing the 2nd girl in the RV had clocked him already and was watching. He wasn't backing off and the 2nd girl had to come out, then he took off and so did they. I heard you say once that when you hear a vehicle, it sets you on edge, and I'm the same way, even now, living alone. If there's a knock on the door, I freeze and won't answer it. Like who tf are you and what tf do you want? We don't do that around here. 🤣🤣
I'm not afraid because I'm always armed, but it's SO important to be aware. I don't have pet insurance. It doesn't cover pre-existing conditions and most policies are super specific. So I'd rather pay out of pocket for any and all necessary vet expenses.
Hi Amanda, hey I have a question. do you use your van air conditioner when you're in a hot place like AR or do you have a different air con when camping in a hot place like Arizona. I also have a dodge grand caravan.
