Mohammad Khansahab, father of Ustad Rais Khan, was a very close friend of my illustrious father, Ustad Azmat Hussain Khan Dilrang of Atrauli (Jaipur) Khurja and the Agra Gharanas. Mohammad Khansab used to visit our house at Gowalia Tank along with very young Rais Khan. Mohammad sahab always insisted young RaisKhan to play Sitar before Azmat Khansahab as a haazri to take blessings and Duas from him. Rais Khansahab always respected and took blessings from Ustad Azmat Hussain Khansahab Dilrang (The great doyen of Indian Music) These facts are very clearly mentioned in the personal diaries of my great father, Ustad Azmat Hussain Khan sahab.

I have a problem with this man interviewing this famous family of father and two sons. He could not get the conversation going briskly. Poor Suhail was left out in the cold for a long time without getting two words in. Secondly, Rais Khan sahib monopolized the conversation more or less from beginning to th end. You could see the tension on the faces of his two sons as he kept on and on. And then Farhan was made to play the sitar holding the instrument sitting on a chair. I could have done better as the presenter of the show.

Any body who even has even one percent of brain would not even dare to insult khan sahib. You have to be blessed to be rais khan. After rais khans sitar Anuradha sounds very weak. Interviewer is musically very poor

What a crying shame that Sohail has thrown away the gold coins from his family into dust and is overtaken with the hijra culture of bollywood. How can he put up with this, and not realize what he has lost?

the major problem with Rais khn he never acknowledge relations who helped him gain make his name, he here clearly disowns his poor elder son, he disowned his uncle wilayat, his country india,his wifes slefish man to the core

Sohail mian, leave the hijra culture of Bollywood, stop singing which is not your forte, and get back to the sitar for the next ten years until you have recovered and regained the geat heritage of your father and his family.

Dull and boring interview, and also embarrassing. One should speak fluently, quickly and genuinely. Raees Khan Sahib never spoke easily. The man interviewing didn't help either. The sitar piece was not needed. And why was Sohail left out of the conversation for so long?
