Raised By Wolves Season 2 Ending Explained 

One of the best sci-fi stories ever told. Masterfully acted, amazing imagery and a deep and fresh look into what life can mean for both humans and machines. Highly addictive with heartwarming moments blended with chaos and even chilling scenes at time that make you say, “what in the world!?” DO NOT CANCEL THIS SHOW! This story has to be given its conclusion.

There aren’t enough shows like this on tv or film. Multi layered and carried by a strong cast and visual effects. It leaves you wanting more. Yet this vast canvas of ideas is disserviced by the limits of 8 episodes and gaps in story arcs between episodes. Nevertheless, I’ll be watching season 3 for sure.

I just finished watching the 8th season 2 episode - it's mind blowing. This series tackles religion, science, ethics, emotions, and relationships. The series is weird (in a good way), but everything they put out works wisely. The mystery adds flavor to this series which makes the viewers, like me, theorize about the future of the story. I just love that this series is not overly meta, as this one is careful with executing the lore and mysteries about its characters. I need seasons 3 and 4 already. Please watch and support this so we'll get new seasons. =)

Good job by Ridley, finally. Something completely different. Just when you think you can anticipate things, plot turns in such shocking ways that you gotta love this show. On the other hand, it shows also that Hollywood still has things to offer. Why then such lack of good movies over the past 10 years is beyond me. Love this show, SF in the original form.

On of the best sci fi of the past 10 years. Cinematography, designs and acting is AAA. The plot is captivating. It gives you always something to be excited about and raises new questions that makes you want to go further within the lore and the story itself. The tone is very much adult. There are clever dialogues and just enough graphic imagery. Cherry on top: just a good original story that feels unique within the see of sci fi content and NO political/moral commentary unrelated to the plot . Highly recommend!

Though I will be writing a medium length review of Raised By Wolves' first two seasons, all you need to know about this new sci fi series executive produced by ALIEN director Ridley Scott is ...you ABSOLUTELY MUST see it. It is basically all the best elements of sci-fi classics like DUNE, Bladerunner, and ALIEN rolled into one (certain features hint that it is actually set in the ALIEN Universe around the time of Prometheus or Alien: Covenant, possibly). The overall series starts off as the story of a pair of androids tasked with raising human children on a remote, arid planet (Kepler 22b) after humanity/Earth is destroyed by a global war between atheists and a fundamentalist group of Sun worshippers called the Mithraic. But as the first two seasons have progressed the series has become a dark, mystery-ridden, existential mediation on humanity's deeper impulses, with plenty of violence and horror to go around (viewer discretion is indeed advised). But as always with Ridley Scott, nothing is gratuitous, and any/all shocking moments drive the story. The god that the Mithraic worship, Sol, turns out to be real (in a certain sense), and whether It is good or evil plays out over the first two seasons in some pretty spectacular and disturbing ways. All n' all Raised By Wolves is absolutely brilliant, essential sci-fi. Scott is not consistent with his genius, but when he puts out a masterpiece he really puts out a masterpiece. Raised By Wolves is one of them.

one of my top 10 shows EVER. just finished season 2 and I cant wait for more :3 I think people need to bear in mind that the writer said that he envisioned around 8 seasons from the start .. so for all the reviews saying that the plot is all over the place and so on, probably just don't understand that there are intentionally many questions left unanswered. I will admit that there are some instances with minor inconsistencies ... but sadly I kind of expect that from shows nowadays ... but the story, effects, acting (for the most part .. I cannot stand Campion lol) is amazing

The original kepler humanoids had some sort of sacrificial culture...sacrificing either androids or themselves to create trees and whatnot.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this show. It's an epic battle between the ideals of religion vs atheist even after home planet is destroyed- leave it to the humans to continue the argument on another world. This show is written, directed, acted, set up, etc ext soooooooo well. Imagine the wonder/ adventure/ unique design/ of "Avatar", the robotic emotional rollercoaster of Robert Williams "AI" movie... and undertones of impending doom like "The Day the Earth Stood Still" with Reeves. I love that this scifi show really seems to stand out in many ways from the rest and truly hope that it gets the strong ending that it deserves. My only complaint is that season 2 only has 8 episodes and it took forever to get season 2! I want season 3 (and xyz seasons until its it's over! Hopefully they end it properly because you never know when an epic show will get canceled these days).

The plot of this series is basically every character talking about what is going on then talking about what they're talking about. It's excruciatingly obtuse, slow to a fault, and so full of holes and fallacies it's difficult to take it seriously, and yet it takes itself so seriously it is almost joyless to watch. Just when you think it's about to actually go somewhere they introduce yet another dead end, nebulous and unexplained idea without ever wrapping up any of the previously started themes or conflicts. Characters change inexplicably and character development is either non existent or completely inconsistent. The special effects are just passible but so much is done by low-budget color grading and things like the characters talking about how the boring, regular B-roll of normal earth's oceans is really the "acidic," ocean on this planet. I really wanted to love this series, and I just absolutely hate it.
