Ok second comment now that I’ve actually watched the whole thing: this is *exactly* what I needed, I’m going to rewatch tomorrow and take notes 🤣 I have a 4 year old & an almost 1 year old and it’s been hectic lately to say the least. This was all super helpful and actionable (if that makes sense?!) Thanks again for making this video, I’m truly grateful. Much love to you and your sweet family 💕✨😘 xoxo
You're so welcome!! Thank you, gosh, thank you for these kind words. I'm so glad it's helping you and other mothers. It's exactly why I'm doing this. I wish I had these tips earlier. But it's a part of my story and I'm so happy to share
I love how you mention your dad...I get the same reactions from mine. My babys skin is really sensitive and ...I know this sounds awful but my dad doesn't have the best hygeine...Basically my dad "raspberry" kisses my toddler on the cheek and it gives him a tiny breakout/rash everytime. Idk how to tell my dad or other loved ones without making them angry
Love these tips thank you!!! So helpful for an emotional toddler I now have and I too find not making our lives busy. Clubs, places to go lots of outings. I limit what she does and have as many home days as possible with a nice outing here and there. Not always possible with running errands but I do what I can in shorter windows and it definitely helps! Rushing stresses me and definitely stresses my daughter 24 months! X
I feel you. I came from a rushed family lifestyle and had to alter it, it drove me and my kids crazy. I'm still working on it daily honestly! But it's the mindset that helps me the most. I'm so glad this video helped you
This is very helpful! I’m so glad I came across your channel. It’s refreshing to see another young mom with the same values as me. My family and a lot of my friends don’t understand why I do the things I do. God bless you and your family 💕
I'm not a mom, but love watching your videos. However, I am board-certified music therapist with a master's degree and was overjoyed that you found and believe in the power of music!! Even when I worked in the psychiatric unit, my internship supervisor told me at the debriefing to notice how the tempo/amount of instrumentation is affecting my patients during their music therapy interventions. So happy you noticed!!
I love your channel! With a newborn I don't have the time to research the changes I would like to make in certain areas of my life, so thank you for what you do. I would love to see a video on your essential kitchen tools, pantry items and grocery list. I would also love to know what meals you make for your family in the fall and winter. I'm in a meal prep rut
Ah I'm so so happy to hear this. This is why I came here. I knew other moms could relate and would happily heart the things that I'm learning along the way. These are great ideas, I'll get right to em. Thank you! I have a healthy kitchen video on my channel I believe! But I can surely do an updated version this fall/winter. Thank you!
This is so helpful and interesting. I'm always happy when I see you've posted a video. They're by far my favorite. I love the health tips and seeing your realistic life. I'm eating a very strict diet right now because I've been unofficially diagnosed with MS, and I'm determined to help my body heal with food. It's very similar to the way you eat...this is my new lifestyle, because I'm never going to back to the way I ate before, and I feel so much better, even with MS. All that to say, your videos on taking care of yourself are an inspiration to me. Thank you!
Ah I'm so sorry to hear this. Hoping you find healing and transition into this new lifestyle peacefully! Wish you could see my face. I'm honored and humbled that I can bring you inspiration during this time of your life. Wishing you the best and that you find a way to laugh today!
I'm listening to the music you suggested and I could basically fall asleep any second I'm so chill. 😆 I would love to see a video on how you schedule your day with the kiddos or a day-in-the-life! My second is 3 months old and I'm trying to get a good rhythm for our days. 😊
Omg right?? It's the most soothing thing ever. It's one of the best tools. I recently posted a day in the life but I'll do a scheduled one, what a good idea! THanks so much!!
Ahh this video is so timely! We live in syd Australia and have been in lockdown for 9 weeks now. I have noticed that my 2 1/2 year old gets very aggressive and I wasn’t sure why. What you are saying makes so much sense and I am definitely going to implement these things. Thank you for your videos!
So good. My little one is only five months old and already I can see when he’s frustrated and overly emotional and I hate it when it gets to me. I can’t wait to try these out! I’m curious how you maintain a sense of home for you and your family as you travel around? Are there any rituals/routines/ rhythms you try to put in place? I’m also curious how these things change when your husband is home versus when he’s away. Its harder for me to keep my routines in place on the weekends when my hubby is home all day lol
It definitely changes when my hubby is home too! I try to really just go with the flow. But I always get outside after brekky and before lunch. That's always one of our routines. As far as rituals/rhythms....meal times, naps, outdoor time is essential. The timing honestly varies. If I try to control it too much, I get disappointed when it doesn't work!
How did u figure out what made your children - or did u just implement all theses points and then it changed . So interested in your Chanel and esp this topic …
Hey :) Thanks for those kind words! We have amber teething necklaces. Those seemed to help. And just getting them outside and distracted was always my go to! It will pass soon
