@@calmoros a failed first season does not really help for new fans of the series. What do I do if i want to introduce people to the anime. Tell them to read the webtoon to chapter XX and then they can watch the anime? Really is a shame, but hopefully we can get some good clips and amvs for the series

Well this is just the first generation of WEBTOON anime so I think they’re just here to test the waters so hopefully if they release more it’ll improve

Give it a couple decades. Anime has had time and are these animators even Japanese? If not then understandable.

@@carljohnson3347 right? 🤣 People really expect better treatment for SL and HCLW. Webtoon are difficult to adapt. The way they are set up, a lot of content can be crammed into one chapter which makes what to cut and what to keep intense guess work. To keep everything would burst wallets for sure.

I'm a fan of both and I can say they LITERALLY look like brothers

Can someone who read the webtoon explain me why this a bad adaptation from Production I.G?

My pov being the action, and various elements that were cutout that are VERY important to the current character development, especially raiz development when he comes into contact with modern day humans.

Another thing being that the anime starts a good 200+ chapters in and these chapters arnt that short either

Am I the only person who feels like solo leveling is massively overrated because of its action and art

read it I'm waiting to understand the appeal he;'s op sure but unlike a guy like saitama his support cast are lacking the pedestal to fill in the character care gap not to say you can't like a flat character who knows it could be like me and fire force only in anime then I can see the appeal

Yeah... webtoon's seem to be getting very rushed adaptions. Even though tower of god wasn't as bad as this or goh. It still apparently skipped some things according to fans. It makes me kinda worried about what might happen whenever we get a solo leveling anime in the future

@@thewolfking3054 yeahhh, I actually liked tower of God but then again I nvr read the source material so I don't know how much got cut out but solo leveling is good af, I really hope if they adapt it they take their time and don't try to fit into like 12 EPs only.

@@yahimtalkingtoyou4653 I just hope that if there is a solo leveling adaption in the future, crunchy role had better not touch it. Because as far as I'm aware they've been involved in all of the webtoon anime adaptions we've gotten this year and all three of them have been rushed. Kinda fishy if you ask me...

Speak for yourself, this adaptation is actually good. They might have to cut some content, but so far its pacing is intact, unlike GoH which was a complete mess.

Yh it is sad but I think it’s good to be optimistic so remember this is the first generation of webtoon anime I wish they used smaller series for the first gen so then the big ones get more justice but if they make more they should get better as they release more

Tower of god was pretty good and God of High School... well it did it’s job and brought good fights

Spoilers ahead as a warning for anyone else. Frankenstein got his powers from the Dark Spear. Dark Spear was made by a bunch of his old "colleagues" by sacrificing the lives of many people (kind of like a philosopher's stone). Frankenstein took it from them to keep it out of bad hands, but the resentment of the dead still causes it to rebel. He is incredibly strong. The man who created M21 and the others literally thought Frankenstein was the fabled Noblesse for much of the series, thats how strong he is. To put it simply, Frankenstein is strong enough to mock, harass, torment, and torture his opponents mid fight. He wins probably 80% of his fights. An additional spoiler-ish that might make you chuckle, Frankie often introduces Dark Spear as his psychotic lover 😅 He often blames stabing people in the chest on it.
