Raja used to be this critical and amazing. Her attention to detail and to whatever it is your wearing was so on point. I miss this raja. Raja now keeps on tooting meh outfits
I can sorta agree with that. Alexis’ drag was boring and lame vs. Sasha’s was trying too hard to be different. So, basically, no versatility from either lol
I love Sasha's personality, but her runways were very much "try-hard", but with a few exceptional looks, most of them looked so poorly constructed & cheap. In terms of *_quality_* artsy looks, I love the creative visions of Kim Chi, Acid Betty, Crystal Methyd, and even this season's Utica.
Axel Venti yes she should have, she did great in the acting challenges the rusical and a legendary snatch game, the most important challenge. and she had great lip syncs. so yeah she should’ve made it as far as she did. even if her runways weren’t the best she still had some great looks. and her promo look was amazing as well
Yeah, i was just thinking that. I stopped watching FPR because Raja just doesnt feel like its Raja anymore. She sounds fake and doing her best not to offend anyone… which is like, the antithesis of drag and a fashion review?
tbf drag race is different now. the queens have more money and more designers working for them than ever in the past. I cannot think of a queen who made it as far as Alexis Michelle looking this busted on the runway every time in the last four seasons.
Probably because people started taking the idea of two drag queens sitting in the WOW basement in front of a green screen critiquing the fashion of drag queens on a reality show far too seriously.
I miss this side of Raja who was wasnt afraid to deliver these SPOT ON reads! Unfortunately the Drag Race fandom browbeat her into only being nice and unwilling to tell us how she really feels.... Its not her fault. I get it. I wish the fans werent so sensitive sometimes...

Back in the days when Raja and Raven both critiqued looks instead of just giving everything a toot. They would go in and give a breakdown of the fashion not just a it’s nice toot.
I think Raja is truly one of the few queens who can say things like this when it comes to runways because she really does not have one bad runway on both seasons she was on.
That was when I turned on Alexis completely. Girl you want them to dress you? Go in to your wardrobe and pick out your outfit? This is a competition, that’s not their responsibility. But even if they would have taken her aside and said “Girl that look isn’t great” she would have gotten offended.
This honestly gives me life. It will always be a mystery to me how Alexis ever made it to the top 5. Her snatch game was great but her runways were absolute garbage. Just ZERO taste and fashion sense.
For me it was a moot point, though they kind of ignored her clearly worse efforts when Valentina n Nina went home. We all knew who was making the finals, it was just a matter of shoving some queens aside to get that result.

To be honest, Raja is 100% right. In season 9 Alexis's runway looks were terrible and she was FAKE as f***. In AS8 her runways became a little bit better but much much much more FAKEEEEEE. Honestly, she has something that really really irritates me.
