This track shows perfectly that you don't necessarily need to have a face track to be a entertaining one. I will forever miss the mad drag race down to Schanche svingen at Lyngåsbanen, but this is also really cool. Thanks for posting this. I can't understand Finnish but I understand rallycross 😁👍🏻
Sum Yung Guy Lancia and Peugeut in that race had over or more than 500 hp and the rest had less than 450. How's that fair? It's pretty obvious who's gonna wn.
FreedomWarrior lancia did have 500 hp, but peugeot have less than 500 hp but around 400 hp. and i think i also see a sport quattro s1 and an rs200, which all vehicles are (or were) in group B
It's sad to look at stupid people that only destroy fantastic cars. Some of them was junk so them get a new very short life. But many was not, and after this not possible for anything other than just to become junk. I felt so sad when I saw Lancia Delta S4 and Peugeot 205 T16 together with Ford RS200 in Rallycross. That stupid always mad and bad Martin Schanche did not give Ford positive advertising, so just a waste. Audi Sport quattro was too old made to be good there...But MG Metro 6r4 was so ugly so it felt okay. But Lancia and Peugeot many people soon understod that it was bad to destroy like this.... It's good when rallycross cars are made of ordinary cars and also them that are made only for rallycross.
And yet, loads of them are being restored. Rantanen's car (the one you see last here) is, afaik now a road legal RS200 again. One of Schanche's cars are in storage in Norway. Thor Holm's RS200 are being restored as we speak as well. Lots of other Gr.B RX cars have been restored to rally/road cars again.
Well to my mind they were made to rally even if they weren't adapted to the type of roads in rally cross they have been used like they were made to be used I prefer seeing a them on the tracks than always in a garage
@@Martin-jc8kk Yes, but the risk of such a unique car being broken at a rallycross competition is, after all, several 100% greater than at regular rally races. In addition, they were already historically unique when they started to be used in rallycross, and that is why I saw nothing positive about this ... But we are all different.
