superb !!! Can you make me/us a favor ?? Can you tell the dimensions of oem handlebar of tenere 700?? i dont have the bike but im gonna buy it, but after a ride that i have i see that handlebar was litle low for me. So im thinking to say the dealer to instal some other handlebar before i buy it but i dont know what handlebar fit with cables of t7.. this handlebar , Protaper ATV High bars , do you thing that fit ??? i want the maximum height that i can go with no problem at cables.
One thing important to me it's the wind protecion but you cant test it now, that side pod's you have removed i think it help, and also the windshild height. But it looks very cool, congratulations on your work.
V2 will move it all up, so should be better wind protection. The side wings might actually be installed later, I just need to work out the best way to attach them.
Good job Markus. Now we can see where there is room for minor improvement on the next version. All and all a good go at it. With Robert, (Nomad) showing a new GPS type unit he has me thinking about a tower as well. You did well. Obsession is just another word for focus. Don't worry about it. This has been an amazing series! Are you still thiking about releasing the CAD files on the eventual V2 Tower? There's a very high chance I say F it and just go all in on the T7 and do a Thomas as well and just turn it into a rally bike! P.s.: I was actually considering selling the T7 to get a lighter bike to rally. But you and Thomas have shown me that even tho it'll take much more to convert the T7. It'll be worth it!
I will, though the student ver of fusion 350 do not let me save as dwg file. Only the 3d file and drawings. But I will share those, or just sell a naked tower for those who are interested. It will still require that you buy lights and windscreen, but a easy DIY job.
