Really miss those days when the models could fully emote. It was all about vibing with the brand. 50% was the clothes, and 50% was the vibe you became when you wore the brand. People chose brands based on the kind of image and persona they wanted to display. It was so much fun then.
No one does Americana fashion like Ralph Lauren. He has always been my favorite designer. This collection was a translation of 20th century fashion classics pushed into the modern sensibility of the 21st century evoking a feeling of better days to come.
Love the collections and the location. Real California. And yes so fresh to see models that have expressions rather than dead mannequins in most shows these days.
Yes, smiling models. Genuinely happy to be there. I have noticed some fashion houses where their models look like hostages in a post apocalyptic world. This was very refreshing 😎

I absolutely loved the casting. 🥰 It's the face of America , every ethnicity , skin tone and hair texture was represented. It was great to see Shalom Harlow as well as HRH the Maharaja of Jaipur walking the runway.

May Ralph Lauren never change!!Beautiful,classic clothes that can be worn by real people in real situations. I have become so sick of seeing clothes that can't be worn anywhere but on a runway by strange looking models in the name of diversity. This was great! Shows like they used to be.

Hardly anything new. A trip to Tuscon for the cowboys duds, a viewing of Annie Hall for the slouch hats and sweaters, and the Great Gatsby for the "Hamptons" look, some platform shoes from the 70s, some 80s suit jackets,and sweaters tied over the shoulders! wingtips and saddle shoes for the guys. Was this just a time travel show? The kids were awfully cute though!
I love the brand’s DNA of Ralph Lauran. The public really takes time to appreciate, bringing the family value, and showing the society as it is, is outstanding! Never disappointed.
I absolutely love the ode to Americana fashion with the elevated western wear. Beautiful masculine men in cowboy boots and hats are the icing on the cake and it's wonderful to see the designers returning to using attractive models again instead of going overboard on the diversity.
@@lindajones9304 Models should look like Models and sadly many designers have been forced into over diversifying the runway. A healthy balance of every ethnicity is nice but when one ethnicity is over represented, the overall look is forced and deserving Models are out of a job. Africans do not represent all black people and people from the Caribbean, America and Latin America should be represented as well. Just the same when it comes to Asian representation, it's refreshing to Southeastern Asians represented as well. This runway show reflects faces all around the globe so before you read in between the lines and get triggered, seek understanding first.
@@mikalyonsoneal9890 What does a model look like though? Do they come from a model store? Do models need to be "modeled" a certain way? Should they have a brand stamp on their arms saying "this is a certified standard model"? I thought if you are hired to wear clothes for a brand, then that makes you a model. What does it mean for a model to not be attractive? What is considered "attractive" changes every few decades so that word is very ambiguous. Sounds almost like you think a certain "kind" of model should be considered unattractive. I wonder which kinds of models you have an issue with? 🤔
@@angelroseglow I'm a former model and I have a right to have a preference just as you do and some of the current models do not represent the style, sophistication and glamor of times past. A model should entice you to buy the outfit and emulate their style and that's missing the mark greatly in this Era of over diversification.
American. Clean. Classic. Sane, mostly. Fun. Expressive. Retro. Loved the SW. Great music. My mind feels relaxed. Thank you. I think we all needed this.
Love that runway! Collection was beautiful, models were smiling and having fun, a couple were even holding hands, there were kids and older people as well and it looked like a bunch of people on vacation. Everyone could find something for themselves and I love that they went old school with the classic and elegant looks for everyone, the "old money" vibe and didn't try so hard to set trends, they just let the clothes speak for themselves. it was a unique runway, beautiful clothes.
I love this collection. It’s Feminine and Cowboy. It’s Florida, It’s vacation, It’s home cooking , It’s shopping. It’s collage, Its regal, It’s high school, It’s Baby I’m home. What’s not to love. Everything I’ve seen is gorgeous. I want to see Princess Catherine in some of these. STUNNING FASHIONS . These models are all Candy for the eye . Lovely. The men are royally put together. So upbeat, so exciting. I had to watch this a few times just to see every garment shown in detail . Awesome Ralph Lauren.
