I was 4 years old in 1974 when my family saw this exact band in Livonia, Georgia. I remember on stage.

I'm surprised at how many Keith Whitley fans I've met. That are totally unaware of the full extent of his career in music. Prior to breaking into main stream country. He'd been performing since he was just a child. His bluegrass band was so good. Ralph Stanley came to see them. It was history from then on.

This takes me back !! Wow ! I could listen all day ! True country music !! Not nearly enough of this today !! Not even close !

No one sings like Dr. Stanley. He was a unique talent.

I love me some good 'ol fashioned mountain music!

My Mama dearly loved Keith Whitley when he was a 90's Country Sensation. He was Awesome as a Country Star. I wish I could have shown her this video when he was in Bluegrass. She passed away in '97.

Keith had the best voice in bluegrass.
