Ram Cummins Turbo HE351VE Actuator Replacement from Amazon does it work?? 2024

We rebuilt the turbo over 10k miles ago and reused the OEM actuator it lasted another 6k or so and went out so we tried 2 actuators 1 was junk out the box and this is the install of the other one.

Probably not 2019 was a 5th gen these are for 4th

Does the selector on the turbo has to be against the fire wall on that one as well? Or not because mine is ñot programming

Im thibking about doing this myself to my 18 megacab. Code u010c is on and i cant see paying 2900 for a oem one and a coolant flush

it goes in between the harness and actuator.

How many gallons of anti-freeze did you use and what brand to refill it?

@@fuentedevida1866 my gallons are not stock I have a Mishimoto radi......you dont need to drain the whole system to change the actuator. we use : amzn.to/4cx7LXy

Mine is coming in later this evening. About to run and grab 3 gallons if coolant and get to draining it. Hopefully this one works out the box so I can get back on the road making money tomorrow

I do have 1 question. How did you install the adapter wire? I just got the new one in and just screwed it down and plugged it up,still nothing

@@DIYKAI it don't on the end that connects to the vehicle. It has those 2 prongs that don't fit it. I have a 18 so I don't even need the adapter,just swap the actuator and pug in. Still not doing anything

@@daddynowski no 13 and up had this style it's an update to the 10-12 truck, 13 and newer have it just make sure your harness is still in good shape

Mine is just flashing green and i dint hear anything moving in tgr turbo

Try and do it again....did your turbo shaft move freely when you had everything off

@@DIYKAI yes the turbo vein moves freely. I installed in the left position and installed the bolts. Plugged up 5he programmer and I heard nothing

@@DIYKAI i took it off and checked everything and even left it off but plugged in,still nothing moving at all. So I figured it was dead out thr box. But it wasn't the one from what you ordered it was one by misakomo. Im returning that one and getting the one you got

@@DIYKAI all lights came on for a few seconds then just bottom red one was on. Pressed thr button and green light blinked and nothing was moving or programming in thr actuator or turbo.
