Question: when they programmed your truck for the power steps did the app button in dash screen show right away? Just had mine done and it’s not there. They said they programmed it but it can take a few days over the Air to show up on screen. Does that sound right?
Thanks for your vid’s, I’ve taking my ram in for service and tech damaged my driver mirror, scratched my panel and my 12” radio bezel. He never said nothing had to report it to FCA corporate got mirror and panel fixed but still waiting on my screen (3 months) so I installed a dash cam and the tech (same one from day one) got recorded saying how much he f-n hates this truck on multiple entries. Very disappointed when a tech hates working on trucks. Just cam imagine what damage…
Geez man, do the world a favor and trade that truck in. If you’re having that many problems… just get rid of it. Used market would pay you sticker for it right now. I love my TRX. No issues at all. People drool over it.
This is the Ram Experience. The TRX is great but I wouldn't buy anything else from Ram. They just don't care about their customers. Corporate should have gotten this done much sooner if the dealer was being a problem.
@@ButterDaInsider Same. My whole plan was to get my ordered TRX as promised in Q1 and own it for 6 months and get a 2022 in orange but no chance I put myself through Ram's buying experience again.
Man it’s just not your dodge dealers that suck all the ones around Ottawa Ontario Canada do to. Had 35’’ tires put on my new 75 anniversary power wagon had an appointment at the dodge dealer to reprogram the computer for the new tire size. Get there they take my truck in and like 25 mins latter the guy comes over to me and says we can’t do it ?? And not sure why. recommend I go back to my tire shop and see what they can do. I found out what’s going on after I got on the ram truck forum. But why would a dodge dealership not know this ? Total bunch of idiots work there.
Newer to your channel. Enjoy your reviews and as a long time (now former) lover of the ram truck I will not be spending any money on that brand going forward. This is absolutely unacceptable service.
I have to disagree, shitty dealers are the issue and they arent just the Ram dealers, GM, Ford... theyre all just trying to sell and not service shit. I know many people locally that will swear a certain dealer wouldnt service their vehicle and that was valid and i finally caught them and informed the owners son (buddy) and had the assholes fired. Again, about the only thing i can say is inexcusable is the bolt issues on the trx trucks. That is ridiculous
I've been researching all the full size trucks, i'm hoping to upgrade by the end of the year or early next year....I was seriously thinking of a TRX...but this and his other videos have kinda persuaded me away from it...still considering a Rebel over a Tundra or GMC AT4 Sierra
Most of you guys don't even know who Lee Iacocca is, if you do you won't even consider, even how cool it looks buying it. He saved Chrysler. Yes that's how good of a salesman he was, of course even convincing the government to bail them out together with Chevrolet. What I'm saying in short is Ram & all Chrysler products are a piece of junk, then even now! I like the looks & sound of it, but I'm going to wait what Ford has to offer against TRX. At least I know I'll be getting a good product that will last.
Bad management is the downfall of Chrysler the last 20 years. And then dealers not wanting to do a warranty repair is beyond me but money talks and looks like warranty money wasn't hitting right
It is not just dealers near you I confronted a dealer near me about some problems and they replies with we are private owned and don’t come back and I tried reporting them to the company with no luck
They have had my truck for 6 weeks on a warranty repair the longest they have ever had it on warranty repair was 6 months I had to buy another vehicle after they stopped paying for the loaner.
Butter use all your connections and report that dealership I’d make a video about that dealership they took 100 grand and they don’t give a shit there’s a lot of these dealerships like that out there and the manufacturers should do something about it
Yeah I'm going to raise awareness. I'm being nice by not naming the dealership right now but I will do another video about what to do against these crappy ones.
@@ButterDaInsider yeah blow this shit up! Im a huge Ram guy and knowing these dealers are screwing around and causing people to stray away from Ram. This just hurts the brand. Hoping they make it right or corporate gets in on this.
Picked up my TRX last Saturday and since day 1 my passenger side electronics to roll down window and lock or unlock door doesn’t work. The quality of the expensive ass trucks is horrible and so damn sad. No issues with my Power Wagon.
Butter after they fix your bumper do you need to put the clear bra which is the plastic film over their bumper because it’s going to Chip unless they’re replacing the bumper with a factory painted bumper
