Yikes! That was a customers truck? It had a license plate on it? And geeeee, LOOK at this! A whole window busted out of a vehicle and laying on the ground, and no one thought anything of it? And they were alerted to a stolen car "on their lot" by their security system and didn't see these guys trying to steal 3 different vehicles? GOOD thing you have all that good security. I would drop the security and buy more insurance with it! LOL
So yall knew there was a STOLEN vehicle on the property, and didn't keep your eye on it..... sounds suspicious!!! I would terminate whoever knew about the stolen car and knew that the TRX was on the property.
I worked at a Toyota Dealership, some one stole a brand new Sienna. Guy dressed in a suite and tie like a salesman. Walked to the back by the porters, got in the van and drove away. Took hrs to figure out that it was stolen.
@@goo1358Yet the cartels drive plenty of Fords and stolen pick ups for cartel duties. Ain’t nobody worried about the law. Title is for law abiding citizens 😂
@@goo1358No title no problem just pay them about $200USD so the Feds leave u alone on the road and you’ll get a recipe code in case they pull u over agian so you show you’ve paid the fee alr i once took a my Financed truck down there and I was pull over and was demanded $5000 MXN or $300USD to get released on the spot and continue on my merry way because I didn’t have a title I couldn’t get a Import permit Most Fed$ will works thing$ with you
But putting 30k+ over sticker price isn’t stealing 😂 but y’all ain’t ready for that conversation.. still those crooks should be found and arrest and not I’m not talking about the dealership
We all pay for crime. Insurance rates especially. Imagine working there and having to tell your customer their $100k+ truck was stolen and then having that reputation. It's the people and communities you should feel for.
@@OK-td7oe Chop shops are a thing, dude. It's not like they're registering it and driving around in an expensive stolen truck is just dumb. They're selling it right after, whole or in parts, free money either way.
And now those rates just got higher. Cost of everything is skyrocketing thanks to democrats soft of crime policies. Soon all the democrat voters wont be able to afford anything.
Yup, talking about “I hope we can get it back” and it took 3 days for them to realize it was missing. Dude, that car was parted out the same day it left the lot! 😂😩
Well, it was "brazen" because you have morons who work there unaware if yheir surroundings, you have a security company who apparently does nothing, an easy to steal vehicle, and inventory gets checked every couple days or so. But to this guy, it's a "brazen" robbery lol
Why any of the sales people doing their job? As soon as I turned into a dealership to do a turnaround, a sales person walked up asking if I needed a new car.
What's this thing? Are new cars and trucks no longer equipped with an internal physical lock pin for the steering? Does the computer control the actual device that locks the steering wheel now?
They unlock it with a computer & device connected to the obd port so as far as the vehicle computer knows, it’s been unlocked with the key, which means any anti theft is disabled. There’s videos showing how it’s done, takes less than a minute and zero damage to the car
Why bother to have the camara set up that tells of a stolen car on the lot? The dealer didnt do a damn thing. Just blew it off. What this only good for after hours? Camaras all.over the place . Its obvious no one looks at Camaras . How did the dealership find out they were robbed? Was it 3 days later because it took that long to keep searching for the theifs? Or did they say hey, maybe we should check when we were alerted about a stolen car on the property.
Why wasn't employees notified though someone must've dismissed the alert..i think theyre should've been a lock down after they were alerted bout the stolen vehicle on the lot
Anytime something happens at a dealership it's an inside job. Dealerships must pay taxes on every unsold vehicle and whenever the cars are stolen insurance pays the dealership for the loss. They don't need to sell the car, they don't pay the taxes on the unsold unit and the car doesn't go to auction its a win win win..
They’re getting really polite when they broadcast these news media. The bottom line is a got-a-away… got away with a dodge ram truck. This truck will end up in South America guaranteed and one of those trains. This is a big big problem in Houston now. Probably end up with one of the cartels.
Same thing happened to me at sterling McCall north freeway they didn’t tell me anything till 3 days later first cop said they couldn’t report it stolen because I wasn’t there sounds like bs to me had to be an inside job
People should stop buying jeep dodge Chrysler vehicles until they put a stop to this vulnerability these vehicles have with being started without a key. This is insane, if they can take it from a dealer they can take it from anywhere.
Wait they have cameras that read license plates and automatically notify management that a random stolen car is on the lot but also don’t realize one of their trucks is stolen for 3 days.
Wow, these thieves are slick. There’s a new thing called a call out where you say you need a hellcat engine and you got 20,000 bucks cash and they’ll deliver it.😮
Sounds like my rich boss who got his rv stolen on company property and didn't notice until police contacted him 3 months later they found it abandoned.
They dont care because that truck is insured and they'll be paid for it. When i worked at a dealership, the owners were happy whenever their cars were destroyed by hail for the same reason.
"Physical locks to steering wheels" FUN FACT 99% of locks an average joe is likely to buy cannot with stand lockpicking attacks! Lockpick proof locks are very hard to come by!
I’m surprised that their more cars aren’t stolen at dealerships more often. I worked security at dealerships mall over night and while I did my rounds I would find keys 🔑 in car doors or open lock boxes on cars with the keys inside them. On average I would find 6 keys a night
I was at a Toyota dealer and there was a used V6 Challenger on the lot. Some idiot left the key in it. I was still there when they were closing, could've stolen it easily, but luckily for them I don't want a V6 Challenger. Now if I just took the key and locked it, that'd be worse. No one would be getting in, LoL.
