Next time, if there is a next time, when signing papers and you come across the 64 pages of fine print , pick up the contract and tell them you'll be back with the signed contract after you read it all, fuck them.

That's why all the dealers look like Palaces .

Just take a simple contract with you that they will only sell you the car/truck and nothing else. Make them sign your contact first

Problem is Pete, It's pretty much on you to pay attention to the paperwork that you sign as you make the purchase, What they throw at ya is a standard contract that they use daily, They know as well as you do that you would need to be an attorney to even have a clue what's in that contract, Most dealerships use high pressure tactics to get you to purchase, And in your case I'm sure that like most they slow down the process so that you get tired of sitting around all day to get something done that most feel could be done in a matter of a few minutes and then start shuffling paperwork at ya. It's really a sad state of affairs when you need to hire an attorney to take with ya when making this kind of purchase. I had a dealership hold my trade in hostage while they searched for a financial company that would accept my loan application.
