Thank you! The stock gearing and power is more than enough for 37s...I haven't noticed much difference from stock. Also most 37s run small so it's not as bad as it seems.
Looks great, love your channel! Question for you. I am in Michigan also and do some wheeling with my Raptor. Been considering a TRX. Curious if you have had some experience comparing your TRX vs a Gen 3 raptor off road?
Both are great trucks! For trails, gen3 Raptor is superior in handling and nimbleness. TRX doesn't like to turn due to heavy front end. At the dunes, TRX is smoother and the powerband is perfect. Can't go wrong either way, all about personal preference!
nice truck... but the oem mopar running boards suck. after 30,000 miles they start to slow down as all the seals get clogged. AMP research extreme is the way to go. 13 inch drop, 5 year warranty, much higher end powdercoating, 4 motors instead of 2, sealed joints... i have both...
Enjoy your videos. I’ve for a 23 lunar. Love the truck. I’ve got 13k miles on it already. Watch this video and the leveling kit video with collars. I want to do a small lift in the front and back using foutz 1.5 collars and one 3/4 plate. Don’t really want to level since I tow a heavy wakeboard boat. I’m also going to do the bump kit with fox bumps. The question…any issues with that setup? What made you switch? I will do a Baja trip like I did with my gen 2. Thoughts, comments, advice are all welcome. Thank you!
Thanks for the update video. I bought the spring based on your recommendation. Awaiting for my wheels to arrive from Japan and for the tires as well. I would be going for 37 x 12.5 x 18. I do have the Mopar eletrical side steps. They look good. But the let down that every things gets into your panels including small rocks etc. Im installing weathertech mud flaps to be on the same side. I hope they dont ruin the look. Badass truck nevertheless. Have you installed the Bullet proof 3rd light anntena mount?
Yes good point, the mudflaps should definitely help with the chips. I haven't installed a 3rd brake light, honestly I don't feel like messing with dropping the headliner and running wiring. I've been rocking the suction mounted rear amber with antenna mount from catchmeoffroad.com, works great and is super easy to install/remove when needed!
Yes definitely! I used this setup when the truck was completely stock and it did great, just had some rubbing on the plastic liners (front tires, back fenders) during turning and aggressive offroading. No issues during normal street driving and bumper is not affected. Highly recommend the Atturo Tires!
I definitely off road so wanted to go with the lift as well. I already have the eibachs in the rear so I was debating the 1.6 vs 2.7 up front at this time.
@@RMC2021 I'd definitely do the 2.7, since it settles a bit after a few months and gives extra clearance when offroading. Only downside is the more aggressive CV angle so no donuts lol
Hello sir, I bought a trx in China, but unfortunately we don’t have ram dealers in China, so I was wondering if i changed lift kits it will not fitted the suspension, because I cannot re programming shock, so in the case ,do u still recommend me have lift kit? Cuz I really love 37s tires. Also one more question, do I have to change panhard bar? I didn’t see anyone selling this in my area ❤❤❤ hope u can helping me figure out 🎉🎉🎉
For your mopar steps, have you bashed them against a rock by accident yet? Want something like this just worried I’d break it by accident on a trail or something lol.
No complaints with the Eibachs, other than they could potentially lead to CV failure a little quicker than the OEM springs due to more aggressive CV angle. Ride is same as factory and looks great with 37s!
The only "issue" with the steps is that they dont protect the rear quarter panel & flare from rocks like a foxed step does. Although it's no big deal for you bc u have a wrap to protect it.
The CV angles don't extend past the factory angles, they just sit at a more aggressive angle all the time with these springs. I've replaced one CV with the updated part number ending in AG. Haven't had any issues since, but the original CV is probably on borrowed time 😁
Great question...I don't think you can turn them off but I may be wrong. I know you can manually deploy them if programmed by the dealer, like for washing them. I've offroaded mine many times with no issues though!
