Brilliant rendition by RKM! So reminiscent of KVN. The percussion accompaniment by Manoj Siva on mridangam and BS Purushotham on kanjira is wonderful.

Though different in voice, style is identical to the GENIUS M.D.RAMANATHAN. We miss musicians sing in lower octave but I am impressed with him as he sings sometimes like MDR & KVN yet another genius. Beautiful my dear boy, well done.

Kasturi tilakam lalata phalake vakshasthale kaustubham Nasagre navamauktikam karatale venum kare kankanam | Sarvange haricandanam kalayan kantheca muktavali Gopastree pariveshtito vijayate gopala cudaamanih || O Sri Krishna ! The Kasturi (Musk) Tilak, a red ritual mark decorates your forehead and the Kaustubha jewel ornaments your chest. The Nava mouktika, a pearl ornament on your nose, your fingertips graced by a flute, while your wrist is ornamented with a bracelet. O Sri Hari! Your entire body is bedecked with fragrant sandalwood paste, your neck has a beautiful garland. You gave Mukti (salvation) to the Gopis (lady-cowherds) who followed you. Victory be to that Lord who proved to be the choodamani (crest jewel - singular ornament of all ornaments) for even a commoner like a cowherd.

Superb rendition by Ramakrishnamurthy. A replica of KVN . A music beyond his age to give us the purest of pure carnatic music. Its a wonder how he could be so finely replicate KVN being not even a desiple of KVN Hats off to him . It is a peaceful melodious carnatic treat to be listening to RKM. GOD bless him with abondance of fine voice and Gyanam.

Excellent rendering of Dwijawanti, no doubt. One minor quibble - I wish someone had taken the time to work on the phrasing of the malayalam poetry with RKM. The splitting after "mamaka" in Pallavi makes little sense to the lyrics (mamaka dayithan = my male lover). Same with the speedy luge over "allal, ith akhilavum" in charanam was just not pleasant. The same padam, rendered by S. Chitra really helps one appreciate the lyricism of this padam.

No doubt, he is very promising. All the very best
