I want the mint pickaxe to come out again because my GameStop apparently “sold out” when the store was open for 15 min. Honestly thought they didn’t sell the codes but kept them and sold for a higher price.

Last year when the pickaxe got released I called gamestop's during gym to get a code. After school I went to a gamestop downtown and it was packed. As soon as I git to the register only 50 to 100 dollar items remained, but since I called earlier I asked for a girl and she came with a ragnorok keychain for 5 bucks and after that...I've been looking behind my back on the walk home. Also as someone who doesn't have the 15 dollar candy axe, this is a good alternative.

If epic wanted to release this pickaxe to everyone, they should either give a style to OG owners, other forms of compensation, or make a pickaxe with a similar color scheme and green flames to match the skins which have minty styles which are available for everybody to buy.

My most memorable moment was when I decided to help someone defeat the Mythic Storm King in Save the World. We defeated him and the dude was so happy he got the Mythic launcher that he gifted me the Minty Pickaxe. It was awesome.

I just remember going to my GameStop after it had been released and it was completely sold out. Every GameStop I called didn’t have so I eventually bought mine on eBay for $5.00 and got a authentic code. But I feel like that pickaxe was more hyped than any cosmetic in the past even today.

my favourite memory with that pickaxe, was going onto my brothers account and seeing it there and i when i had never seen a picture or anything of it. he got a code, and i was mindblown at how cool it was, at that time the only thing i would do in fortnite was get winterfest presents and do my winterfest challenges, i didnt play fortnite much in c2s1, and i thought it was the coolest pickaxe ever

Surprisingly my gamestop wasn't packed and no one else seemed to be buying any codes at the time I went. Not a lot of people seem to play Fortnite where I'm at as far as I know. I remember having to call lots of ebgames trying to get this code and they all said it was exclusive to America. later I asked another shop for the heck of it and it turned out they were SOLD OUT! As I always say, I couldn't care less about rarity and exclusiveness, unless it's Battle Pass, platform bundle, etc. But this is one of those things even I think should stay how it was. I think enough people got it last year, and the people who did, often went through a lot to get it. I personally had to wake up and be in Gamestop the second it opened that day and then it was one per person. So my little brother had to buy something to get his card, then me, then I gave some money to my mom so she could get something to get a code for one of my friends. Like, item shop bundles, regular item shop cosmetics, yeah, bring them back, Skull Trooper and Ghoul Trooper still shouldn't even have "OG" edit styles, but bringing this back is on the level of bringing back a Battle Pass cosmetic imo.

I remember making a gamestop employee my dad is good friends with scour the logs of all fortnite products they had in stock & on sale to figure out the minimum price I could pay to get the pickaxe. In the end I paid 5 dollars for a fortnite shirt for my brother, and then I remembered I bought the pickaxe 3 days earlier from a legit code seller, so my friend ended up with a code in the end too

when the Merry Mint pickaxe came out, I asked my mum to get me and my brother it, she got us the codes and I remember putting it in so excited. I joined my friends and they all freaked out and they where shocked as they had never seen it before as I got it on the first day. It was one of the best feelings ever. I’m sad I didn’t know about it last year. I didn’t start playing Fortnite until Christmas Day last year because I saw Dolph and wanted him. He’s my main and favorite skin and after the codes long expired I discovered the Merry Mint Pickaxe. And I wanted it to have more Xmas options with Dolph, but alas it was too late. Oh well at least we have the OG Candy Axe. But I would gladly buy this if it was ever rereleased

My most memoroble memory that i life in the netherlands and they don't have a game stop there and i had gone to germany a little across the border but all fortnite products were sold out so i asked german family of mine if they could get it and luckily i got a code and im happy with the merry mint pickaxe

I am exited about the snowbella skins minty edit style to use with the pickaxe because barley anything I have matches the minty pickaxe. It has a very unique color scheme.

I bought a code on ebay back in october 2019. Its one of my most run pick axes. They might just make dualies that look similar instead of having codes for the axe again.

I still found it funny how in the uk you wouldn't even need to spend a certain amount on fortnite products to get it you just had to buy A fortnite product yet when I preceded to go to my local retailer that was confirmed to have them in stock I went to buy a card pack like my friend did from the same retailer and I asked him if I would come with it if I bought it and he proceeds to say no lmao

You could also get the Marry Mint Axe from EB Games which is owned by GameStop, something I didn’t know until I got it

I feel like epic would rerelease it because they really dont care about og players they didnt give og recon expert owners an edit style they only care about the new players if they could i feel like they would put renagade raider in the shop just for the money they also put bhangra boogie in the shop so i feel like they would

i remember being on my schools field trip when getting this code , we visited the mall and i picked up the omega funko pop and got the axe code on a receipt instead of a card. However it’s nice to have a piece of fortnite history in my locker :)
