Blue John Fluorite is sometimes called the genius stone and is considered to be a wisdom stone. It facilitates learning and uses precise, concentrated energy to help find answers. It brings structure to the mind. It cuts through negativity and clutter, sharpening awareness and combining what has already been learned with what is being newly received.
Spiritual & Emotional Influence:
Blue John Fluorite cleanses, protects, and stabilizes the aura. It can be used in meditation to help reveal the truth of a relationship. It stimulates intuition and clear thinking. It links the emotional and spiritual with the physical. It harmonizes the intellect with the spirit.
It is thought to bring organization to the mind and support mental health. Blue John Fluorite brings order to both the inner and outer life. It recognizes when outdated behavior patterns must adjust and when something held as absolute truth in the past needs to evolve into something new.

I’ve put a notification on, 😊 I walked passed this place on the Hope Pilgrimage. If I’d had more time I would have liked to go inside .

This was brilliant Ritchie. How did you manage to get the place all to yourself?

@@RamblingWithRitchie thanks mate. Was looking at showing some of the caves in a video myself and this one looks the best of the lot for Blue John.

@@PaulMessner have you checked out my other video of Stump Cross Caverns? That’s an awesome place. Also I’ve just done Ingleborough cave but currently editing that one right now. There’s a small one called Yordas cave which is free to go In and inside there is an underground waterfall. Really cool.

Yeah mate. There’s one called blue John cavern but they won’t let you in without being with a guide. Won’t let you just take your time round etc.

In everyones oppinion, what is the best mine to stop at in Castleton? out of Blue John or Treak mine? or speedwell, etc, I have passed here for stopovers for hikes and a wild camp on Kinder scout but never explored the mines!

Hey. Thanks so much for the message. I’ll be honest with you I can only say Treak Cliff as blue John wouldn’t let me in with the GoPro so I haven’t been in but if u watch this video u will just see how fantastic this cavern is.
