Why do I make these videos? Why do I think it's so important that you as a customer should not let companies take advantage of you? Why do I believe you shouldn't accept Funcoms ignorance?
Listen, I love Conan Exiles, but by now you all know I despise the way Funcom handles this property. Is what it is right? No it shouldn't be. This was not a simple bug but one that devasted all sorts of players in the community. Their response, an event for more resources... Yeah that's what the community wants Funcom, you know us so well.
All my videos on Funcom lead up to moments like this, the lack of effort behind a company, a company that is so disconnected from it's player base that they literally show it in the form of this lack luster event. People lost weeks, months, years of their time. While we all know there is always a risk when it comes to online games, most of you would assume it wouldn't be the companies fault you lose everything right? Wrong.
If you freely accept this behavior from a company how can you ever expect things to get better. You buy the game, the dlc, the battle pass and the bazaar, should you then have to worry about the items in the game working properly? No. If they would actually take the time and effort to test their own updates game items guess what? Issues like this could be easily avoided.
Don't let them fool you.
