The argument with the stabbing case wasn’t just that it was a police statement against a suspect. The suspect had at least 2 people who were willing to be witnesses agreeing with his case that it was self defense. That’s now third party witnesses who say it wasn’t him, and the only third party witness on the prosecution side was the victim saying he got stabbed from behind and didn’t identify the stabber. So there is no third party witness on the prosecution side identifying the suspect. Only cops. And multiple cops aren’t different parties, cops are all one party. If a cop arrests someone they have to have evidence for the crime, their statements are not enough. That’s why they have to do their due diligence to collect evidence and witness statements from other people. As well as have video evidence like body cam and dash cam. Evidence trumps witness statements.

Super defensive cops in 4.0? Bummer. Thought with the reduced roster these take-no-criticism cops would've been eradicated but I guess some things just can't be helped.

Slacks, arguing that the cop is a third-party is correct, but the cop is not a disinterested party. As soon as the cop is involved, he has an interest in the outcome of the case. The cops need evidence and/or eyewitness testimony from disinterested parties.

The cops don't understand it's up to them to prove they are guilty, not the other way around.

So patar stabbed person 1, and tried to stab person 2. Why is there only witness testimony from person 1, where is the witness testimony from person 2. If there was a cops word + 2 witnesses then this is the easiest case of all time. Saying its not bad policework is wild.
