Middle Eastern Atheist I got something wrong as well. He's not part Egyptian, he's full Egyptian. both his parents are Egyptian immigrants who settled in L.A. His name says it all. If they were Greek, they wouldn't have an Arabic family name, and wouldn't give their son an Arabic name. His distant ancestors may have been Greek though, as is the case with most people of North Africa.

Give it time. Rami is young and he's already signed on to star in two very interesting films. He'll get to be compared to Tom or Leo in 10-15 years. He'll never be Omar Sharif though, which is sad. We need another Omar Sharif. I mean Rami is good-looking, but he's not Omar good-looking.
