I’ve been obsessed with Ramin, Hadley and Sierra for a decade. I’m so glad that the lockdown has finally brought these people to y’alls attention. Better late than never
Marian Chua Ben Lewis’ performance of this piece is also perfection. There are moments when Ben’s lilt reminds me of Hadley. Such a beautiful piece it’s hard to go wrong. ❤️
They’ve been popular since the DVD came out! There are plenty of equally good - better, even - Phantoms, Christines and Raouls who don’t get a fraction of the attention they do.
I see ramin, sierra and Hadley in phantom initially then ramin and sierra in love never dies long before covid, he will always be the best phantom for me xx
I've been to every show hes done in this country for the past 10 years and I swear he does it every show its be weird if he didnt frankly 😂 never tire of hearing him sing this
He controls his voice so well, so soft, so soothing, soooooo touching ... and then there's little phantom peek-a-boo I just can't take it... it's too good
I missed the livestream of POTO 25, but I watched it through Netflix a few weeks ago and I'm OBSESSED! I bought the DVD and have already rewatched it many times. Ramin is now my second favorite Phantom after Michael Crawford, and I loved Sierra and Hadley as well. The whole thing was fantastic. And RAMIN! Looks, voice, personality... the package deal.
She is part of his Broadgrass band. So she probably hears him sing a lot of hours everyday and has gone past the stage of being surprised 😂😂She just be like. Yeah thats Ramin. Amazing vocals😂
WriterJoyce I actually thought for a second that I preferred Ben Lewis’ version. I slapped myself and chalked it up to poor judgment. Not that Lewis isn’t great. But Ramin Forever
Webber may not have the strongest shows, but I be damned if that man can't write beautiful music. His Requiem is amazing, even Aspects of Love, which has a bit of a cringy story, is an amazing score. I wish he would work with better writers. Music like this deserves great worlds made for them to exist in.
I went to see this, u can actually see my head at the end aha. Anyway, he was amazing, made me cry a lot and I was sat right infront of him so it was a great experience.
There are no words. I truly love this man's voice. I heard this song the other day when I got in the car and tears were streaming down my face. What a talent. Gorgeous beyond words.
Something a lot of people don't know is that Ramin was the phantom in the very first stage production of Love Never Dies. Mr. Loyd Webber himself called him up because he wanted HIM to be the one to sing it, therefore implying that this song was written with him in mind. Andrew KNEW what Ramin could do and wrote a song that would express not only his beautiful vocal techniques, but also his stunning range and his passion. So to the people saying it's like this song was made for him... it was
Supremely talented, attractive, humble, funny and classy. I want to see the day he is formally recognized by his government for his contributions to the arts.
Saw his show in Eastleigh and this was the absolute stand out song for me. Total goosebumps and had to pick my chin up off the floor afterwards. Ramin live is amazing - feel so privileged to have seen him live twice now (although the first was rather brief at Kerry Ellis's Friday Night is Music Night and the fandom had not reached the level it's at now!)
@linda Wellington I went to see him tonight in nottingham...amazing amazing amazing!!! how on earth did you get all this video?? I was sat on the front row and got told to turn my phone off!! managed to get 2 photos and that's it!!
karen * haha I was Row B tonight in Nottingham and I saw someone being told not to use there camera, so I didn't bother to get mine out... Amazing concert though wasn't it?
Linda Wellington you went again so soon?? WOW you must be a huge fan!!! he was just unbelievable..I have never seen him live before and still trying to work out how that man cam actually sound better live than on video???!!!! such a talent! I was blown away..I didn't even realise that he did all these gigs around uk, thought was just US! Did you enjoy it? did it differ to Leicester? I really wanted him to sing music of the night! (best phantom forever!) ah well..feel deflated today now it's all over lol the build up has been exciting, especially as I kept it a secret from my daughter,I booked it for her birthday! BRAVO Ramin!!!!
I was sat right behind you, Ramin wasn't impressed with the security interrupting his song halfway through, he looked at me and we both shook our heads and roll our eyes. I did laugh when Matthew (the guitarist) got his phone out and Ramin said ' You can't get that out, Quick Quick before security comes and confiscate it lol
Every concert he's done on this tour has been different, he likes to mix it up and keep us fans on our toes lol I'm going to the last one at Bury on Sunday.
Ahhh you have a Deet icon! I love her to pieces, that made me so excited! ❤ Also yes, I hope he performs in the US sometime again! Though he probably wouldn't come to Seattle/Portland anyway. 😢
Ten long years Living a mere facade of life Ten long years Wasting my my time on smoke and noise In my mind I hear melodies pure and unearthly But I find I can't give them a voice without you My Christine My Christine Lost and gone Lost and gone The day starts The day ends Time crawls by Night steals in Pacing the floor The moments creep Yet I can't bear to sleep Till I hear you sing And weeks pass And months pass Seasons fly Still you don't walk through the door And in a haze, I count the silent days Till I hear you sing once more And sometimes at nighttime I dream that you are there But wake, holding nothing but the empty air And years come And years go Time runs dry Still I ache down to the core My broken soul can't be alive and whole Till I hear you sing once more And music, your music It teases at my ear I turn and it fades away and you're not here Let hopes pass Let dreams pass Let them die Without you what are they for? I always feel no more than halfway real Till I hear you sing once more
Also at Nottingham Playhouse where I reviewed for the local paper Nottingham Post. eastmidlandstheatre.com/2017/01/28/review-ramin-karimloo-and-the-broadgrass-band-at-nottingham-playhouse/
Kvothe hijo de Arliden maybe but his voice is just awful, appreciate the effort he put in but no the singing just isn’t at the level needed to be able to portray the phantom as it should be. I suppose he is good looking but the voice is just as important as that!
