Ok I need explanations on some detail cause you mention it also serves as a dungeon for Adventurers to defeat monsters and earn rewards. At some points in times they adventurers would probably be able to defeat one of the 10 guardians and what then ? Nobody is OP forever.
Haha no. The adventures can't even get passend Floor 40. Even the Holy knight (The strongest Human knights) weren't able to get passend Floor 60. And the first lord comes at elvel 60
From what i remember basically any set of adventurers that can beat certain floor each month will get gold (money). For example first 3 adventurer each month who can beat floor 50 will get 3 gold (i forgot the exact amount but you get what i mean). But to be honest with the current labyrinth I dont think anyone will ever get past 80th floor guarded by zegion who is literally on par with Diablo
All monster actually rivive on their resurrection spot .so there's no shortage of monster. When monster die they drop magic Crystal and other things they can sell on market on first floor.
So strong he is considered on par with the True Dragons. His eventual status as a Greater Demon Lord actually causes him to lose Veldora's blessing/divine protection, and replace it with his own (and thus his subordinates receive it as well).
@@mael8328 That is incorrect, they are far stronger than true demon lords, except for Guy and Milim. It is also hinted that dagruel is as strong as veldora, but that is about it. The rest cannot hold a candle to the true dragons. Ramiris is also busted but only in her adult form.

Yep the 12 Patrons (12 Demon Lords under Rimuru, which allowed his final evolution into a Greater Demon Lord a being considered akin to a True Dragon like Veldora). Zegion himself is actually contested for strongest of the patrons as he possesses armor so strong that even Milim can not easily harm him with her full strength.

@critie seull in terms of strengths ranking Diablo is the 1st and Zegion is 2nd while Benimaru is 3rd(in WN he admitted that zegion is stronger than him)
the main reason Rimuru allowed the labyrinth to be made near his city is Veldora needed somewhere to safely release his magical energy without destroying the environment around like his sisters do ( his sister turned the island guy lives on an ice island ) from there they found other ways to take advantage of the labyrinth

Tempest secures supply for the rare magisteel and hipokote herbs that will fuel Some of the Tempest's Finances. Third... To house Ramiris... As requested by Ramiris and Berreta. Berreta wants to serve Ramiris and Rimuru at the same time... Being close to Ramiris and Rimuru thru the Labyrinth is the perfect opportunity for Beretta. Fourth... The Labyrinth serves as both a commercial venture for Tempest, getting adventurers, merchants, etc from the challenge and rewards the labyrinth gives. Fifth... The labyrinth serves as the secret "Tech research lab" for Tempest... Preventing espionage and securing "tech prototypes" from prying and greedy eyes. Lastly... The way Adalmann uses Holy magic is by The Secret Skill of Faith and Favor, taught by Luminus. His faith in "God" (Rimuru) is what lets him use Holy magic. The Holy Demonic reversal is just another skill he learned.

I feel many overlook Ramiris's part as much of what's achieved in the labyrinth couldn't have been achieved without her ultimate skill, which is in turn the result of her nature
Maze Creation skill is not an Ultimate skill. It's different from a Unique skill and Ultimate skill. Maze creation is an Intrinsic Skil. It's the only Intrinsic skill in the Tensura Verse that I know of. Correct me if I'm wrong.
@@Thigsy actually Remuru had some intrinsic skills from being a slime, absord, dissolve, and self-regeneration, and IIRC the only real differences between intrinsic skills and other skills is why one gets them, and they are more magicule efficient, otherwise they're, more or less, functionally the same, and can become, or be part of, an ultimate skills just the same

Eh I'll leave that up to the animators, they've done a great job of everything so far. And to be fair, it would take like 3-5 more seasons to catch up to where the light novel is at the moment, so they've got time.
The BIG question is... At the point that Zegion work as overseer, who would be the WEAKEST that can still reach 100 floor normally.... I mean the one that would walk into the 1st floor, beat every floor (except 91-94) and can meet Veldora in one go... // I don't think about BEAT Veldora.... You may need like Velgrend, Velzard or someone at that power level to pull that off =w=
The Dragons didn't evolve, they are just Dragon Kings. Rimuru used the souls to name them rather than using his own energy. So they aren't bound to himself.
I can't wait to see Milim dragging the dragons around in the skies of Tempest whilst the labyrinth was being set up. It was comical when I read it and it would be hilarious when animated.
FUN FACT: The Title of "10 Lord of the Labyrinth" was just an attraction and made up title to hype up the Labyrinth. It should have only been 9 to be exact cause Beretta should not be in there but because they want it to be 10 in number they added him and currently defending the Labyrinth 60 floor with the Golem that Ramiris created which was the later version of what Rimuru destroyed in the 1st season in anime. Later on, Beretta became the Labyrinth lord and Gadora (future will become Gadra) which is a friend of Adalman took the place in Floor 60 with the Golem.
I know right, me was shocked after seeing him in slime diary and reading about him being 2nd strongest subbordinate but yea there are so many factors: 1. he have rimuru flesh and apito also have, but zegion had talent and determination far more than her 2. he was trained with one of the superior creatures of the world 3. he lives in the area where there veldora's magicules which will make him stronger 4. this guy do meditation every time

Thats the punchline, turns out SPOILERS there is a secret 2nd tier for Demon Lords: Greater Demon Lord. Just how powerful is a GDL? Well, if the WN is still a relatively accurate predicter of the LN events and details (generally everyone is stronger in the LN Im told) then becoming a Greater Demon Lord not only evolves Rimuru one last time, but makes him an existence akin to a True Dragon. Yes, Rimuru will be an equal if not superior individual to Veldora.

The 100 floors thing? That's a pretty common trope in RPGs, I mean, the first three Paper Mario games all have 100 floor dungeons, in fact, the third Paper Mario game actually has two 100 floor dungeons...

Most of the time... Veldora is in the labyrinth. He has his own "room" filled with Mangas. He constantly releases his Magicules there to spawn mob creatures. Him leaving the labyrinth for a couple of days doesn't diminish the Magicules he left behind to a significant extent. I compare his Magicule release akin to a Nuclear Waste. Once he releases it... It permeates the whole labyrinth and it stays there for some time. Hahahahaha
I only knew/glanced at Zegion on that one episode/chapter where Rimuru was creating a physical body for Treyni. I was then sucked into the Zegion Power Up blackhole and i never looked back since. The Kamen Rider aesthetic is pristine.

Rimuru's and Ainz' worlds are so different, it is unfair to compare them. But if you need to, they are both comparable to how OP they are in both power and influence. Well, like most isekai MCs.
@@generizze6243 again, not a fair comparison. Ainz revolves around a game world where he was op because he is at max level and has accumulated resources/items because of his guild. Rimuru however was really made OP with his sage skill and gluttony skill (literally a deux ex machina), not to mention powers revolve around the amount of magicules you have, while in Ainz' world you have XP and your level as a gauge.
Arent like, the last four dragons "NOT THE STRONGEST" out of the ten lords? Like in terms of raw power, they are not the strongest. But they are given the last few floors simply because they are able to influence the area and creating natural hazards and traps on that floor. That terrain is what makes their floor difficult, not the boss itself. If you have to rank the floor bosses from strongest to weakest it would be somewhat like Veldora, Zegion, Kumara or Beretta(she was temporarily the overseer before Zegion), Adalmann, then perhaps those dragons and Albert.

Spoilers (for those interested, be careful HEAVY spoilers ahead, if you read i'll assume you read the LN) : Apparently, Gedora (Gadra) became Diablo's subordinate alongside with Venom, after he committed suicide by kamikaze, he activated his reincarnation magic. But, he was already under the Tempter skill of Diablo and Rimuru gave the order to not die (and you know diablo). With that being said, Diablo interfered with the process and turn him into one of his descendant. But then, Raphael (or C***) intervened and mix him with the Demon Spirit Colossus, turning him into a new race of demon unknown until then as a Metalloid Demon Race (and he regained his beautiful face of his youth). Knowing Raphael, she couldn't just stop there, so she also gave him the *other* side of Book Of Magic Necrominion.

spoiler warning (note that this is information from End of Series, proceed with caution) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Bro Zegion is stronger than veldora by a long shot. Veldora isn't that strong you know compared to the eos rimuru. The 3 strongest subordinate and members of the tempest federation are in order of strength, Diablo (Demon King), Zegion (Lord of Illusions), Benimaru (Fire lord), and his 12 Patrons are his strongest subordinates. Hence, the fact that veldora isn't in it means he isn't as strong as them, or he is but not stronger. Also note that the fact that Diablo eos is stated to be stronger than Guy Crimson who wanted to fight him instead of rimuru (due to him knowing that rimuru was way stronger than him), he got defeated by diablo who is the strongest being in the world after Guy. Guy even admitted that if it wasn't for diablos passive nature and non-interest in power, he would have been the strongest Primordial. Then Zegion who before getting his demon lord power was able to fight on the same level as veldora, who even admitted tho not directly but said that he had a struggle fighting zegion. Then Benimaru is super strong but he stopped focusing on his physical strength, and on his spiritual strength. He is said to have the strongest spirit in tempest after he was able to resist the Skill tempter From diablo which even Chloe the hero couldn't resist. So if believe that if you are going to give an accurate description of their strengths read the entire story. Not just the light novel. It has left out a lot of details that are important for the scaling of the characters. Just so you know if your leader is the God of Gods, Time, and Space, you know when he says who is strong they're strong. (Edit) I'm not saying that what he was saying is wrong I'm just adding to his information and I just wanted to show how strong he is as I see some comments not appreciating his strength. Some think they are just equal to a true demon lord no they are the some of the strongest demon lords in the series.
I know its not really your forte, but I would love to see you breakdown the battle between Tempest and Eastern Empire. Ive read that part of the LN so many times and its my favorite Volumes. 12-14 was just a blast of a read.
