@@burnsZY85 Richard has a daughter with Till's ex wife, that's why Richards daughter's name is Khira Li Lindemann. So yeah, complicated. But they seem to get along. On the new Emigrate (Richard's solo project) album they made a cover of "Always on my mind" together, beautiful song and I don't think it's coincidence that they paired up for it.
This is definitely one of my favorite Rammstein songs like you said I love the lyrics and the melody but the way Till sings it especially the way he rolls his R’s is just ridiculously hot
In principle, Till describes love or its consequences throughout the song as something negative, painful in the last instance, but with the last sentence "poison me" he begs for it despite everything. So no matter how bad, it's still worth it.
One of my favorite Rammstein song, really underrated and unfortunatly never played live. (to be correct, they played it 5 times only live, but for me it should be a classic)
Till is the greatest poet of our time, perhaps one of the best of all time. He knows exactly how to paint a picture with his words and the rest of the guys are brilliant at creating the perfect music for Till to match his poetry to.
i wrote a book once... never published, probably not worth such..... but i was big on bitter sweet endings. i literally had this song playing on repeat throughout the last chapter of my book... it's insane how underrated this song is.... imo, it's one of the most beautiful songs rammstein has done... but everyone else just wants to hear du hast- even though they probably started with feuer frei. have i shown my age yet? haha.
Feuer und wasser is a similar style of song, starting out fairly quiet and then building up at the end. Two of my favourite Rammstein songs and both of which Till sings with amazing emotion.
Rammstein often compare love to animalic instincts, for example in "Giftig", too. Which is funny because in the end he says "Bitte gib mir Gift". Means he knows it can be toxic but he still doesn't want to miss it. I love the music explosion in the last part and I think you're right, it's more about the intensity of love. That you can't control it. Cool fan-video, too, because it's transporting a contrast to the lyrics. Fun fact: people often consider France/Paris as THE place for love - so calling this song "Amour" is no coincidence ;)
Somehow, I always listen to Donaukinder, Amour and Hilf mir together (and I do it really often). They are totally different by lyrics but fit together musically and put me in the same mood. So, I am not sure if you have reacted to Hilf mir, if not, it would be my recommendation. ;)
Awsome Lyrics. My interpretation of the end line. „Please give me poisen“. Poison means here in this context the love. Please give me the love. love is sometimes a bad and wild animal, but I accept to suffer and pay this price willingly for the love.
Richard's oldest daughter is Kira li Lindemann. Yes, her mom was Till ex and her has a daughter with Till name Nele Lindemann. We can say that Till and Richard's daughters are sibling.
That video is just not good for this song 🙄... the tone of the song is soo obscure.. lyrics and Till's voice , and this video has nothing to do with it 🤔
They made it too romantic, I don't like it. The lyrics also show bad side of love, and this video only shows good. And also I don't like it, because i'm lonely.

Love is similar to a bad addiction (is there any good addiction?). It does to you as heroin does. My god how good it feels but it also hurt you in a bad way. The opposite from love isn’t hate but ignorance.
Love the song and your reaction. Till sings the Amour as he would pronounce Amur. Love = wild animal -> wild animal = tiger -> tiger = Amur tiger The Amur tiger or Siberian tiger is a tiger subspecies (Panthera tigris tigris). The Amur tiger is the largest of the tigers and therefore also the largest living cat on earth. Lives in Russian Far East, Northeast China and possibly North Korea. According to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List, the tiger is critically endangered overall. Population 2022 about 600 tigers (in 1940 there were only about 30 tigers left)
