I still remember the performance of this song at the Aerodrome Festival in Austria 2006. Paul, the left guitarist, set the left loudspeaker array on fire because of heavy side winds. They turned of his flamethrower and one of the crew members climbed up the stage with a fire extinguisher. The rest of the song hit even harder than normally. What an evening :D
A saw a Concert on RU-vid where in one they had the fire masks on and they were performing outside and it was windy and Richard had to keep looking/ moving his head to the right because the wind was so strong it was making the flame go towards him..im pretty sure he was glad when the song finished. I also another performance where they were using the flame throwing guitars and Till started walking towards Paul and paul didnt notice him and he had just started to release im guessing the lever/button to control the fire and you see just a tiny bit of fire about to come out with till just in front and Paul stopped it right on time...it was like OMG!! Till could've gotten seriously burned!! There is another video(this one i do have) where Till actually saves paul from walking into an explosion during a live performance of Links 234...(if you would to see the incident lmk) Again great reaction...love it when u react to Rammstein cause those are 98.9% of what i watch on RU-vid 😍😁💕💕
Yes, they are very much loved and respected in Russia.Till Lindemann even sang in Russian on purpose and shot a video for his song in Russia using Russian actors. I am a Russian myself and I love them very much.

I know Till Lindemann is a certified pyrotechnictian and that the rest of the members recieve full training on every device they use with fire and safety and all that..i have heard some say that they are all certified but i dont know if that's true or not? But yes lots of training and some good luck have kept not just the them(Rammstein) but everyone around them and the fans safe while attending their concerts...Damn i just love them so much!❤ Especially Till!!😍😁💕💕💕
Well all of them have done something involving pyro over the years, more so Paul and Richard. So they probably got learned a few more advanced classes. Oli has only probably done one thing.Till is the main expert guy now though as well as their pyro team which helps organise and oversee things ofcourse
@@wildwine6400 oh yes definitely Paul and Richard are the ones that recieve more training and im pretty sure they're right below Till follwed IMO Flake because he's actually involved in some of the fire stunts the Christoph(just have a feeling) then last but certainly not least is Oliver i think he stays as far away from the fire as possible but of course still receives training and is also knowledgeable in fire safety...🙂🔥❤
Hey D, have you ever watched the "XXX" with Vin Diesel? The band, Rammstein, was there - in the very beginning of the movie. You should watch it and also the fire throwing in the middle of the song or so.. :) - one fact: the director of the movie, Rob Cohen, was the music director for this song as well.

This song is one of their calmer in lyrical content. But the lyrics are based on the Son of a Gun myth from the American Civil War, I can't remember the whole story but basically a woman got shot by accident in the crossfire, and she ended up impregnated by the bullet. It was probably just a cover story for her cheating, I dunno, but the Mythbusters "tested" this myth years back on an idiom special. But yeah, that's the general myth that this song is talking about.
