Pussy is a great foul for the darkness of the previous track, Wiener Blut. There's something Eurotrashy about it and without really thinking about the lyrics, yes, it's a fun jaunt. Live, it's absolutely outstanding and everyone songs along to it. When you scratch below the surface though, it's a commentary on sex tourism but it's done in such a way that it could be missed. I've watched the uncensored video ( several times, we're all adults here) and yes, it's appropriate for the song. Jonas Akurlund was the director for the Mann gegen Mann video and he also directed Smack my B*!?by up by the Prodigy. He's not one to avoid controversy, art is art and it's meant to provoke a reaction after all.

Yet again our brains seem to be in line. If you forget the lyrics this smacks to me musically of something that could easily be transposed into a europop or eurovision style song. With this one I appreciated using the shock value to reflect a very pertinent message. It is the genius of the band for me. Although with genius I need to be accepting that not every message will stick the landing for me.

Do you reckon that it reached number one due to the fact that it was so catchy and pop like in the music or do you think it was driven there by the controversy and the attention grabbing title/lyrics. Either way I think it's a great advert for using base techniques to drive forward a message.
