As is often the case with songs by Rammstein, this song also has a specialty. However, you need some knowledge of the German language. It's about the words "hast" and "hasst", which sound the same but have totally different meanings. "hast" is a form of "have" while "hasst" is a form of "hateing". So to a German, the first lines of the song sound like this because you can't tell the sound of the words apart: Du (You) Du hasst (You hate) Du hasst mich (You hate me) (this is a complete sentence in German) ... Du hast mich gefragt und ich hab nichts gesagt (You asked me and I did not say anything).... This is a little funny, because the music is the most likely to interpret the meaning in the direction of "hate", and then it becomes a very harmless statement ^^

If you look at the official lyrics, you will see that the word "hasst (hate)" does not appear at all. Here is a transcript from the booklet. Yes that's right. However, the two words sound the same and can only be distinguished by their context. One can assume that the risk of confusion is intentional.
