I have learned how to play so so many awesome punk songs by watching your covers. I never go anywhere else but your channel for learning classic tunes. You are the best Woody, always keep on rocking!
repping the Harley Bentons ! they build some good stuff. keep rockin man! i love your stuff! i love when you smirk for a second on these. like, "yeah im rocking out!"
Harley Bentons are a great platform to start off with and then do some upgrades. BTW, the guitar that I used in the video is a Vintage :D Thanks for watching!
Great cover as always! I was looking for your cover of She Belongs to me. Was it deleted on YT? I remember it was better mix then official Beauvoir version. :) Can you upload mp3 somewhere?
Great Woody. I miss hearing you playing Ramones. need to ask? What's your favorite band? keep it up my friend. big hug. it was a show. congratulations.
Hi Woody again great cover. I have been learning guitar for around 9 months now after seeing you play. I would like to try doing some covers too but I wondered how you wire everything up so the sound is so clear an audio interface? Details would be appreciated. Thanks !
Thanks a lot! My signal chain is: Guitar into a Marshall DSL5C amp; amp cab is mic'd up with a Shure Beta57A, signal goes into a Focusrite Scarlett Solo USB interface into my PC and audio software. Hope this helps.
@@woodyamsterdam I have the Scarlett and Shure57a what program do you use to put the audio and video all together or what is the process? Also what do you use to take the video. Thanx in advance!
@@cryptoalchemist10minutes44 I use Cool Edit Pro, a rather ancient sound editor, but it has everything what I need. It's successor is Adobe Audition which is very expensive and I would probably use maybe only 20 % of it's potential. I just download the original song in the Cool Edit multitrack screen and with the built in equalizer I remove as much of the original guitars as possible. Then I record my tracks by playing along. I always record 2 rhythm guitar tracks (and leads when required) and pan them approx 70% left and right. (leave the leads in the middle) After that it's a matter of balancing the overall sound. My camera is either a Yi 4K action cam or an iPhone 11 pro max (2,7K or 4K) on a tripod and I'm using 2 studio lights. Hope this helps.
@@woodyamsterdam Great thanks Woody I have made some progress today made my own mp3 track. Going to add the video tomorrow and align it but not looking bad so far. I use to use cool edit pro too about 15 years ago it's very good for free. Thanks again I will post you a link when i get my channel up. I warn you I am a big lillingtons fan :)
