This video was made in Australia and we are a metric country so no issues with metric hex. The studs in the video would have all been metric. However if you are asking why they are mentioned as 'special adapters' it's simply because the studs don't come with an adapter for the drill as part of the kit.

RAMSET identify the type of fixing for Masonry Anchor products into Light, Medium and Heavy Duty across the range of mechanical and chemical anchors. This generally relates to the weight of the item being fixed and the holding power of the fixing. Each individual product will have specifications as to it’s capabilities. However light is genetically intended for lighter and lower strength anchors. Refer to RAMSET for more detail as I posted these videos as examples of my video production I am not a RAMSET employee.

@@eamonmagree It’s from a royalty free music album I have as part of my Smart Sound music library. I made this video over ten years ago so would need to search my production notes to identify the actual track but you can search at www.smartsound.com as you can audition their music online.

I know it's been a year since your post. Shazam says it's "Chemical Persuasion" by Laughingtube. Hope this helps.
