Ramsgate is a seaside town in the district of Thanet in east Kent, England. It was one of the great English seaside towns of the 19th century. In 2001 it had a population of about 40,000. In 2011, according to the Census, there was a population of 40,408. Wikipedia

I'm in love with Ramsgate harbour and seafront. I grew up in a flat above one of the bars during the 2000s and it had only gotten better over the years. Looks fantastic

I took the train from Maidstone to Ramsgate in 1962 with my father to start 7 years at St. Augustines, Grange Road. I know every detail of the road, including Lavins sweet shop on the corner.

Most shops in TOWN CENTRE are either closed or derelict. Covid-19 didn't help matters but RAMSGATE has been in decline for the last 40yrs at least ...Very sad to see this .However the walk from RAMSGATE along beach (if tide out) to BROADSTAIRS is still my favourite walk in UK

This is a PO sorting office .it was never a POST OFFICE
