Ramya looks stunning….I’ve always wondered why people don’t rave about how young & beautiful she looks ! She is also very charming & charismatic…& comes across as a totally grounded & genuine person 👏💞🥰
Ramya mam is extremely grounded and humble.. younger actress should learn from her She's the real lady superstar.. had performed extrmly well.amazing blockbusters.. but she still is extrmly grounded and still rooted... She doesn't take any credit even though the host is praising her..
Ramyakrishnan is a 100% humble, Sweet, frank and bold and emotionally should be a soft person.. she has achieved a great milestone . She should put that title " lady ultimate star ". She spoke from her heart as usually. I missed a long term moment to meet her in mid 1990's as a fan boy. Hopefully I will meet and chat with her for a 15 min. Mostly admired actress
@@swa_raya She has done item dance too. See, she has done Highly modern role and GODDESS role both with so easy and Slayed in both roles..... No other actoress of her time has done that.
For those of you all saying she speaks broken tamil, she's got a majority of non south indian fans, so she speaks for them to understand as well. Y'all really need to calm down and praise her for the beautiful person that she is❤️
she speaks good tamil. with BR people naturally start talking english. many are comfortable expressing themselves in english. she is 100 x better than hansika who cant event speak tamil dialogues properly, forget about conversing in tamil. people accept and worship hansika? so stupid.
Ramya mam, you are so cute while laugh. Your interview is more pleasant and your smile. The host is very experienced candidate which is showing the way of bringing the interview. Finally so nice interview.
Such a genuine talk it was...very natural but could have asked more about her rather than other actors...I felt like it was kinda disrespectful !!! Ramya Krishnan is a very humble person and that's y she gave answers to all of it with so much positivity ♥️ Love her !🥰
Ramya Krishnan Ma is such an amazing film personality. An actress covered in all such roles an actress never ever can dream upon. Long live Rajamatha 🎉
Our industries just dont utilize the talents of such talented actresses especially the middle aged one. While the men still do the same tired action sequences in their 70s. She can do wonders w a well written role.
Mr. Rajinikanth is very meticulous about his films & structured, though he says a destiny. His well calculated smart approach, very much embraced by others. That's why he remains invicible.
As a die-hard fan of Thalaivar, I want to answer Baradwaj Rangan sirs question about Thalaivar and Chiranjeevi sirs longevity and why there never will be this much craze for other heroes in the coming generation. I really think its because of accessibility and mystic and somehow the myth around these actors. It will always be tracked backwards, because of it. Like any industry, pre-social media and stuff like that had the last mammothstars. All the way from Elvis, Michael Jackson, Muhammad Ali, Micheal Jordan till our own Puratchi Thalaivar, Nadigar Thilagam, Thalaivar and Ulaganayagan. There is no way that any actor after these stalwarts will create the impact like they did. The business and market may expand and all that - but the mystic, the eagerness and the urge to see the stars will fall. There is a clip where Steve Harvey talks about one time Denzel Washington and him was eating dinner outside. And some fans approach them, and the way they approach both of them was so different that Steve didnt understand. And Denzel told him: To see me, they have get a babysitter, use their car, stand in line, buy ticket, stand in another line to buy popcorn and stuff, go to their seat and wait and I come up on the screen 25 feet tall. And then they leave and cant see me no more, until they come and see me in another movie. I think thats whats missing nowadays because of all the different social media platforms and I think we need to celebrate the last superstars, megastars and what more, until its too late. If you read all the way, I wish you a pleasant day and God bless.
Rajinikanth is in this position today because of his style, good opening through K Balachander, then his repeatedly choosing style of scripts and attractive punch dialogues. When all these come out with a stylish body language....people fall for it. That image he created kind of worked out for him. And then with his aging and life experience he managed to maintain the success track with powerful dialogues and acting. Another smart move was he always speaks about God and spirituality in public, that again added more success. Basically he is a smart thinking person. He is unfaithful (not loyal) to Tamil Nadu...didn't fulfill what he promised all these years. Like he promised in every stage that this country gave him a life and he will come to politics to show his gratitude. Make this country a better one. Which he fails to do. He moved on from that huge promise - just like that. But the people still loyal to him and wants to see him successful. Unbelievable.
Well, I feel like Rajini is not a good actor! Yeah he isn't one but people just celebrate him for no reason, there are a lot of other talented actors who deserve to be in the position of Rajini but no they weren't provided with a chance, and he can't even speak proper Tamil and the same kind of stories being told year after year, it's the same baseline, where he's the HERO and he is capable of bringing Mars to Earth! I mean it's high time that we start supporting good talent, actors who know what acting is, and are being paid hundreds of crores, I mean for what acting calibre of his is he being paid that amount? And it's high time that we stop celebrating and exact wearing actors with 0 talent and sideline those with abundance of talent
There is nothing like no one can be in future, there is never like he is the ultimatum...life is all about bringing up a new talent and so for sure he will be replaced
Ramya Krishnan (born 1970) ma'am is actually closer age with Thala AK (born 1971) and Thalapathy Vijay (born 1974). Rajini (born 1950) is lucky to have on-screen pair with Ramya ma'am (20 years age gap)
@6.57 , yes Revathy is real lady super star of south India and tamil movies..The character what Revathy did until now, no one can perform in future also..different and variety of characters Revathy did. If Revathy has Body and height as Ramya, she might have reached another level
My favorite Ramya Krishnan movie is K. Balachandar's "Vaaname Ellai". Her character was very well etched and well played by her. Her longevity is because of doing Amman characters and erotic songs without any discrimination, she does both with equal grace. That shows that she is a true professional. Baradwaj Rangan kept asking her about the huge stardom of certain stars. I think if I am asked that, I would borrow the words of a very young actor Ashok Selvan and what he said during an interview. Roughly, he said that an actor should not be carried away by the by products of the cinema career and the craft should be the the main aim. I would totally agree with him and holds true for every successful actor be it Ramya Krishnan or my Thalaivar, "Rajinikanth"!
She is crazy hot and has amazing screen presence. I am mildly annoyed BR spent a lot of time asking her about other actors. Next time, please focus more on her performance.. she is an amazing actress. It was a revelation to see how self aware and humble she is.
For those who asking why can't they speak in Tamil....She's an actress who has fanbase in more languages Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and all...definitely ppl will struggle to understand the interview if it's in one language!! Think before you comment !!! So much of negativity!!!
I wonder why aren't they speaking in English alone? Wouldn't that be not confusing the viewers? Mixing both languages might be comfortable for them but its slightly uncomfortable for both non tamil and tamil viewers. I don't think both type of viewers would appreciate the surprise of uttering a few tamil words during a nice flow in English. I would be glad as a viewer if they could stick to one language to listen their conversation well.
Not sure whether everyone observed this. Baddy become unusually nervous when interviewing with actress of his age😅. I previously observed the same when he interviewed sarita mam. I may be wrong😅
Her longevity is because of her flexibility. I doubt if any actress would have opted for Nilambari. She took it up and aced it. She has done characters that are glamorous and at the same time ones which have content and parallel cinema.
A nice interview. Well spoken by The Ultimate lady star. Lot of magnanimity ! The answer is from my view is that she just does her best for the character given. This means good acting is what she thinks. Not expecting appreciation, benefits etc.. . Nice questions too ! Wishes !
Free-spirited, uncoventional, strong, bold, and RK is "still an underrated" actress?! Padayappa (and Rajini) fans have since considered her to be "The Lady Superstar" (the title being still due officially).
Dear Baradwaj, I am a huge fan and fellow BITSian, woohoo! Please take this constructively. I have to say that this interview was not up to par. You have one of the most versatile and dynamic actors who has essayed some of the most powerful female characters in iconic South Indian Cinema, and yet you spent a substantial portion of the interview talking about other people, and her experience working with other actors. I don’t mind saying this caused me to cringe quite a lot, because you yourself have said earlier that a good interview should focus on the interviewee, not their co-stars no matter who they may have been. We expect better than this from you, Baradwaj, and I hope to see you back on form in the future with more insightful interviews and review which I enjoy thoroughly. Gods bless.
Usually Baddy's interview dig deep into that person's film career and mindset but this time i dont feel it is not much deep and also he is often asking about Rajini. Usually Baddy's interview wont be like this but I dont know why this interview changed the track. It seems this time baddy's free child was locked up.
@@neeldani7450 check his other promo interviews.. he hardly asked question about that particular movie or their hero…. Usual questionnaire would be around the interviewee…
Inspite to many flops Ramya had to survive in this industry..so she didn't have any pattern in choosing roles which turned as a big boon in her career in this span of 40 yrs.
