My good friend died today, and I'm playing this song loud in his honor. He was a huge fan of Rancid. RIP Brother.

My 4 year old daughter Loves this song. And she loves Rancid... She got her first rancid shirt for her bday last week and loves it. Wore it to the dentist today with her "Mohawk hair" (did the best I could). She told everyone she seen about the shirt. She was so proud, I'm sure no one had a clue who rancid was. Man, I love that kid!

The fact this might be an entrance theme in 6 days for AEW has me stoked. What a track.

Randomly I sing this in the shower today. I haven't thought about the song since I was in middle school. I was one of/maybe possibly the only black girl in my little suburban town that loved punk music. All my family were telling me I should like typical "black" music like hip-hop and R&B. I won't lie a pretend I knew what the song meant when I was a goofy kid. But ruby soho, defined me in the music and aesthetic I loved. Now I am a college grad and this song still sounds amazing and I love that I'm mature enough to understand the meaning too. Thank you rancid

Rancid ie is one of few punk bands that feels like it made for adults. I first heard this song when I was 14 and now I'm 31 and resonate with me More than ever.

One my first personal favorites. I'll never forget being in the passenger seat forcing my mom to listen to this as much as she protested. I was five or 6. I always thought it was about SoHo NY, but found out they wrote it about Matt the bassist. He didn't know until a few years later. Cheers to a child's early taste in music, and Matt the bassist.

I don't know if someone will ever read this, but this song means a personal history to me. See almost 2 years ago my parents told me just like that we were moving from NY to LA. In the summer of 2016 I tried to spend every day I could with my buddies, riding our bikes, hanging out, having fun every day, because I knew that it was going to be the last summer I was gonna see them. Back then, I was tired of listening to NoFX, Offspring or Ramones, so then I discovered Rancid. The whole "...And Out Comes the Wolves" album became the soundtrack of that summer. But this song...man, this song became my favorite. That moment when Tim is riding his bike, stops looking down while the rest of the band just keeps walking...man, It hits me hard.

I've loved this song since it was new, and it just occurred to me this morning that the chorus melody is pretty much the mariachi horn part to "Ring Of Fire" by Johnny Cash. The fact that Rancid re-purposed that little bit of melody is all right by me.
