When you ordered online, how did you know the correct diameter, pitch and length, of the fitting? It would be the same as the portafilter's spout. I assume that it is metric. Is there a metric thread designation?

Did you like the difference from the stock 12bar? My epoca ST1 at this setting(8.5 bar) produces a bad harsh coffee with bad texture, 11bar and up is better, i set it again to the stock 12 bar
One question: i tried but had water spraying out of the top of the portafilter. I think this is because the portafilter doesn’t make a good deal with the gasket when the basket is gone. I am using the stock Rancilio portafilter with the spout removed, and a screw in pressure gauge. Any suggestions? What is the downside of keeping the brew basket in?
I think the issue is that I installed an Aubrey PID and the controller box is preventing me from rotating the portafilter handle further to achieve a better seal. I’ll find a solution. Thanks very much for your videos and your reply, and have a safe and happy new year!
I'll leave the pressure to 9 bars and experiment on fine tune the grind size the amount of grinds, temp. , tamping pressure and extraction time. It's in there just sort of elusively, LOL...
